My friend and I were on holiday in Cornwall and Devon and booked us in as my birthday surprise. Neither of us knew what to expect. Took a while to find at the bottom of the industrial estate but no mistaking the final destination when we spotted the fantastic sculptures outside the workshop! We were greeted with a warm welcome... More

Four friends, all "of a certain age" decided to give this a try. Husband proclaimed himself non artistic and incapable of anything even slightly creative and very reluctant to give it a whirl. Richard went through the whole process and we all created very different end results but all masterpieces (at least in our eyes!) We all enjoyed it, even... More

Went there from finding randomly online, if you are near the area go! Richard (the instructor) was friendly and gave so many ideas. It was 2 hours with just the 3 of us. Conversation was really good and the creativity flowed. When we arrived Little Miss Sunshine was not sure what I have signed her up for but after 20... More

Visited the workshop this morning with my family and had such a wonderful time. Husband and kids were a bit worried when we arrived as none of them have any artistic talent. But we all came away with amazing sculptures that we had made. Well worth trying especially if the weather is questionable.

Had a great time! Richard is very welcoming and a great teacher. I genuinely believed I was going to come out with a messy lump of clay, but I felt confident within minutes and came out with a masterpiece that I love. This pretty much applies to everyone else I went with (there were four of us).

Wifey and I booked a morning session after reading TA reviews and glad we did. Richard (the teacher) is good at both explaining how to create faces as well as providing hands-on hints and tips. Definitely something different.

Awesome attraction! My Mum booked a session with the sculpture workshop after I spotted it on this site and asked if we could do it for my birthday. My Dad wasn't keen beforehand (he doesn't think he's creative) but he relaxed into the session fairly quickly and he's still talking about it! The teaching from Richard was great and we... More

On a dull non beach day I called up in the morning and we went for 1 pm. We joined a mixed group of 13 of all ages. Had a wonderful two hours playing with clay. Well worth it. My five year old boy loved it. Everyone created such different masterpieces and all of us with no experience. Richard was... More

Found this on trip advisor during a trip with my two sons 12 and 14. All three of us found hidden creative talents! Anyone can do this, and should. It's not just for children, its for all ages. Richard is inspiring, encouraging and generous with his patience and expertise. The two hour session flew by and afterwards we all said... More
