Despite having to manage an awful lot of people arriving at the same time (!), we didn't have to wait too long for our "young man in yellow" to set us up with our tandem, suitably adjusted, signed & paid for then we were off! We will certainly use this company again!

We have cycled this trail a number of times and enjoyed it each time. We always go from Wadebridge and if your hiring bikes there is free parking with a couple of the companies. The route to Bodmin is more sheltered than to Padstow but both scenic and flat. Lovely way to spend an afternoon or morning.

Very enjoyable. We travelled from wadebridge to padstow. 5.5 miles. Flat but slightly Uphill going. A lot easier on the way back. I don't cycle at all it was an easy route with good sea views.

It is already March and time for the children and myself to shake out the Winter cobwebs. And what better way than a gentle bike ride, and considering North Cornwall is predominantly hilly, the ride to Padstow from Wadebridge and back again is very gentle. The ground is not potholed, and the incline in both directions if virtually unnoticeable, and... More

Walked from Padstow to Wadebridge. Such a great thing to have. The path is dog safe.......mine is a real explorer and regularly will be up banks and jumping fences and so to have a contained off lead walk for 9 miles was brilliant. We didn't pass many other people as the weather was dreadful, rainy and cold, however suspect that... More

We hired our bikes from camelcyclehire in wadebridge, who were very friendly and efficient. We had 2 adult bikes and a small bike with gears for our 6 yr old. He hasn't used gears before so we didn't know how he'd get on, but loved it! The trail is 5.5 miles from wadebridge to padstow (then 5.5 miles back again).... More

We hired a tandem in padstow and wobbled our way to wadebridge for lunch and then headed back. It was a lovely day out, lovely sights and really good value.

We rode 5.5 miles from Wadebridge to Padstow with our four year-old on a hired tag-along. The scenery was beautiful, the path wide and car-free, and the fish and chips at the end wonderful! Just make sure that the bike you hire has a bell as the path is used by lots of walkers too.

I have done this trail twice, starting in Padstow and doing the longer route to Wenfordbridge.I hired a bike in Padstow but bike hire is also available in Wadebridge and Bodmin.Beautiful views of the estuary, then into woodland passing old railway station platforms, a licenced cafe and just before the trail splits to go to Bodmin is the Borough Arms.... Went from Padstow with the idea of cycling to Bodmin (about 12 miles), but only got as far as Wadebridge as I was cold... It's a great cycle path, even better in winter normally as its pretty quiet, totally flat on the route to Wadebridge. It took us about 30 mins to do the 6 miles.... on previous visits we... More
