SOME GOLF COURSES are not only spectacular to play they are also enormous fun. Situated on the Firth of Forth with stunning views across to Craigleith Island and Bass Rock, North Berwick West Links most certainly falls into this category. The West Links club prides itself on making visitors ‘members for the day’ and the first thing the green fee... More

My husband could not get over how welcoming the gentlemen were at this club, and he's played all over the world. One of his favorites, ever!

The wind blew at 40+ mph but North Berwick was a great place to play. They treated us a members from the moment we signed in. (Malcolm is great Scots gentleman!) The course has some famous holes (Redan and the Biarritz green to name two,) We'd like to play it again some day when the wind wasn't wreaking havoc with... More

I try to play here several times a year with the family. Have played it in all weathers and love it.....It's a great course to walk and has a few hidden gems and shows its teeth on a windy day. Can't wait to get back.

A great evening with friends after a game of golf. Very good value for money. Excellent, friendly staff who were only too pleased to help. Would definitely return.

This was the first round of an 7 day trip and the golf course was not only a perfect warmup for links golf, but a lot of fun to play as well. The views are stunning both directions - into town and out to sea, and the variety of holes made the golf great. Plus it's home of the original... More

If you're a golfer coming to Scotland and want to play one of the most beautiful and oldest courses you have got to play North Berwick. I have played it twice now. Once in 45 degree, windy, pouring rain in June and now on Sept 29 in short sleeves. Crazy. The course is right on the Firth of Forth and... More

Staying at the Macdonald Hotel you are spoilt with having this jewel of a golf course at your feet. The tide and the ocean provide an ever changing incredible backdrop on almost every hole. The course has character and is a must when in East Lothian.

Lovely setting in the town of NB, some classic golf holes, especially 13, 15 (The Redan Hole) and the 18th. Great easy walking course!
