Fantastic golf venue and a favorite to many pro golfers, can get very busy with visitors but a course not to miss playing some difficult holes and like all links course it helps to have the run of the green.the fourteenth was a surprise as there is a stone wall surrounding the green. Enjoy the club house food and drink great

The West Links at North Berwick is pricey at £90 per round but it is worth every penny. The course is a wonderful quirky links course in splendid condition. The clubhouse enjoys a splendid location and offers a fine selection of food and drink. From being greeted by Malcolm the clubhouse attendant to visiting the starter hut and coughing up... More

A very popular stop for the golf trippers like us. They manage the Tee times very well so delays are kept to a minimum. Some great holes, some average holes but all in all worth every minute.

I have played much golf all over the world and can truthfully say that the welcome at North Berwick was as good as any I have ever received. It started at the clubhouse with an explanation of the facilities combined with some stories from The Open qualifier in 2013. The welcome continued as we paid the balance of our dues... More

The gust from the North Sea were unbelievable. Not to worry. The grasses were so high that lost balls were a given. Beautiful day and the town is picturesque. Clubhouse nice. Lots of blind shots... My game suffered... maybe a caddie would have helped! Then again maybe not!

We were lucky with the weather, so this was complete joy to play, even if it was a very challenging course; for me a golf dream come true. The officials were all very friendly and helpful. Only quibble was the mix of four-ball groups which made the round very long, with a lot of waiting. But the course is glorious,... More

What an enjoyable round of golf. This was one of our favorites. I would love to play it for a week to get a better understanding of the course.

This course appears on all the recognised lists of the 100 best courses in the World. If I could only play one course this would be it. Not a single weak hole and in great condition.

I am reluctant to praise North Berwick GC too much as it is becoming better known and therefore it may become difficult to make bookings at this course in the years to come. It is a true links style track with all the quirkiness of many of Scotland's great golf courses, undulating greens, stone walls and hidden bunkers. The course... More

Well its the 13th oldest golf course around - no course architect its just the way it is. You are met by a gentleman that explains the layout and welcomes you - the starter gives you a few tips and a couple of marshals around the course all had were very pleasant and had a little story to tell. The... More
