What a lovely place! The gardens are stunningly beautiful and very well maintained. Lots of little bridges to walk across and various paths to take. My 5yr old and elderly parents equally enjoyed the gardens as there is something for all ages. Well worth the visit.

We found out about this garden from a leaflet in our hotel and so glad we did. The gardens are so peaceful and tranquil and at each turn you find a beautiful view of water and bridges. We walked all around all the trails, dodging heavy rain, and could have spent ages just sitting on one of the many benches taking in the... We drove 30 miles to this attraction and ended up disappointed. Not as big as we expected and the entrance fee is much too high at £6.50p/£6.00p. Not worth more than £3.50p. There are obviously problems keeping up with all the weeding too although I'm sure the gardeners are doing their best. The cafe was nice though.

Lovelly gardens privately owned and managed highly recommended and all small admission fees go to maintaining and improving the grounds

We stopped in to visit the water gardens recently and found the entire site well maintained, peaceful and relaxing. The different ponds and features each have their own charm from the Monet inspired pond to swans gliding by on the connecting channels. The staff are friendly, and the manger of the tea rooms treated us as if we were neighbours... More

Despite there being no one there but ourselves (an asset really) and no staff (we put our money in the honesty box) this enchanting place just sang to us. The colour in the planting made it look like autumn instead of winter, snowdrops and aconites danced and carpeted the ground and a pair of swans billed and cooed to one... More

This is another place that I can't recommend enough. The family that own the park started it because of meadows on their farm that were too wet to cultivate. Jokingly the son said they should turn it into a water garden and so they did. Full of lakes and streams with bridges crossing onto islands. A bird hide to spot... More
