Did this trip with my 12yr old son. We chose to do the 5hr trip up to Los Gigantes. First we saw the pilot whales and luckily dolphins too although this is not guaranteed as the dolphins swim freely in a wide area and the whales have their home here. Next we went to Las Gigantes swam and had lunch... More

It was great to see the dolphins in their home enviroment instead of a regular dolphin show! We managed to see at least 12 dolphins in which they came very close to the boat popping their heads out of the water. The food on board wasn't too bad it was rice with vegetables or chicken bits for the children. All... More

After travelling on a bus for nearly 40 mins on a foot journey which would have taken about 20 we arrived at the maxicat in the Porto colon. Oh boy was it full and being wasted on our boat trips we have been on over the med I was a little disappointed. Other boat itself was good and the staff... More

We went on this trip with our two young children (8 & 5) and we enjoyed it. We saw pilot whales galore and got some great video footage. The food was OK but exactly what we expected for this type of trip. The boat is very clean and new, as are the toilets. We had a lovely swim and I... More

The MaxiCat is the best Catamaran to go out on, and we've tried quite a few. The Maxicat is the only one we've seen both whales and Dolphins on each trip. Good crew, not too crowded, always stop for snorkeling, simple food and drink (free). This year we got engaged on the Maxicat, and the chap that does the video... More

We paid the 5 hours cruise. Transfer from hotel was smooth, embarkation a bit slow, there were more people on board than I had expected but the boat was not overcrowded and one could still move from one side to the other. There were at least 6-8 persons suffering from seasick but maybe was only their fault. We sailed first... More

we were disappointed with this trip as we have been on much, much better catamaran trips. The trip consisted sitting on a boat for four and a half hours with just a twenty minutes stop for a swim. The food was awful.
