We went on the 5 hour boat trip one morning. The boat was absolutely packed full of people. The sea was really rough and about half an hour into the trip loads of people were being sick and the majority of the boat felt ill. I wasn't sick myself but it's really not nice listening to loads of people throwing... More

I have rated this average as there is no 'good option' and wouldn't agree it was very good. Went on the maxicat in the afternoon around 4pm, as we had booked last minute the day before. We have been on a few watching excursions and have always been in the morning. Seen plenty of whales, however no dolphins, this may... More

We did the 3 hour excursion which included a stop off to swim in the sea. We saw a huge pod of pilot whales and a small pod of dolphins and it was fantastic seeing them this way. They come up close to the boat too so make sure you take a camera! Food and unlimited drink is included but... More

Had a brilliant time on catamaran ride to see dolphins and pilot whales. Saw both and good photo opportunities for both. Over 20 pilot whales in pod. Amazing experience

I went on the maxi cat with my family of 4 and was good the only thing I would change is the food because it's not very nice. But would definitely do it again.

Brilliant! Very fun, nice staff, excellent experience. We saw dolphins and got to swim in in the sea. Very dun. Next time would take my own food though not a lot of choice.

A great way to see them in the wild ... we saw lots of whales but unfortunately no dolphins it just depends on the day. Food and drink on board and a chance to stop off for a swim. Trips are photographed and recorded so be prepared when asked to buy them. We did purchase a dvd for 25 euros... More

this trip was sold to us by Mark based up at Laguna Park 2. He was dead honest and said the boat would only be maybe a third full. That was an ideal number to me, 30 odd passengers. Saw loads of pilot whales and some dolphins then headed in towards a cove so we could jump off the catamaran... More

2nd time on the maxicat, really good experience but I wonder should they do a trip only for families, our trip was dominated with large groups of adults who were a bit rowdy. This makes it hard for families with little ones. But otherwise a great trip saw loads of whales and dolphins :)

Myself and my girlfriend went on the three hour trip option. We were taken from Puerto Colon harbour, out to the sea where we saw a family of whales. The Captain stopped the boat and the whales seemed curious so did not leave the area but rather swam round the boat and gave us all an opportunity to get a... More
