This was our 1st trip to tenerife (and it won't be our last). Had a fantastic trip out to see the pilot whales and was breath taking. The crew looked after all of us from the minute you stepped aboard. Will admit feeling a bit queezey but as soon as we spotted our 1st whale I forgot all about being... More

My husband and I were very excited about going to see the whales and dolphins. We had a good chat with one of the many tour sales reps and decided on the Maxicat . We were warned it may get busy but on the plus side you are allowed to move around more freely. I am a non swimmer but... More

We booked the catamaran for 16:00 - 19:00 -- it was fantastic. We were always cruising steadily and never felt uncomfortable. The sightings included Whales and two types of Dolphins. Substantial food including paella and chicken nuggets, with a contribution of free drinks. Nearer to the end, we stopped for a swim and snorkle. Only downside was it was very... More

July 2015 , fab day out on the maxicat , water was a bit rough but still had a fantastic time the crew where amazing , our youngest son had a dance off with the captain to gangnam style. Saw whales, Dolphins and a dip in the ocean. Our boys aged 7&5 loved every minute of the trip. Highly recommended... More

'You will be able to discover the fascinating world of the sea mammals that inhabit the canary island waters, relax in its spacious sun-deck' the brochure said. Sounds like a great day out, we thought. We boarded the catamaran, excited for what the day would bring us. After an hour, the catamaran was pretty much full to bursting. Stupidly, we... More

We were told we were going on to a catamaran for a 3rd trip and would get to see whales(family of 5) and dolphins(0). That is out off their control but wee bit disappointing. We were only on the boat for just over 2 hrs. Had an hr getting there and then standing about waiting for it to return from... More

Went out with maxi cat on the 20th July. Good trip and we really enjoyed seeing the pilot whales and dolphins. Relaxing trip with plenty of drinks. We went for a swim on the way back which was great for cooling down. I preferred the afternoon trip as it avoided having to rush around in the morning. Good value for... More

Did this trip with my 12yr old son. We chose to do the 5hr trip up to Los Gigantes. First we saw the pilot whales and luckily dolphins too although this is not guaranteed as the dolphins swim freely in a wide area and the whales have their home here. Next we went to Las Gigantes swam and had lunch... More

It was great to see the dolphins in their home enviroment instead of a regular dolphin show! We managed to see at least 12 dolphins in which they came very close to the boat popping their heads out of the water. The food on board wasn't too bad it was rice with vegetables or chicken bits for the children. All... More
