Pilot Whales and Bottlenose Dolphins are resident to the waters off the South West coast of Tenerife and enable the whale watching industry to all but guarantee sightings. Rough Toothed dolphins used to be resident nearer La Gomera before the fast ferries arrived and were frequently seen; they have now moved further around the island. Sperm whales reside between Tenerife and Gran Canaria. « less

We booked two days ahead "travelling Lady" to be two hours on the boat at 11o clock, because the fisher feed their fishes at that time. The dolphins come in big families.... Lovely to see, but never ever rely on the crew!! The just fill the boat and leave the harbour ( today it was 10.30). If you have a... More

With a couple of hundred people crammed onto this glass-bottom catamaran, boarding felt like being on public transport, with people jostling for a seat even before the last coach load of passengers had arrived. One woman literally sat on top of me, crushing my thigh, before telling me to move my children so her husband could sit down. Glad we... More

Certainly wasn't for me. Did not realise the rough waves would make me sea sick. Rather have paid more for the VIP where you have the indoor enclosure. Got to see the dolphins, but wouldn't say was really worth it.

I have to say that this trip is excellent value the boat is large and takes over 200 people if full but when we went there were about 40 passengers the guide was imformative and is multilingual The boat is clean and well maintained and the Captain and crew behave in a very proffessional manner on our cruise we saw... We booked this excursion and was sold on this company because it gave people the chance to have a swim in the water, food provided and transport to and from your hotel. Although not one of the cheapest company's to offer such an excursion I believe that it was worth every penny! The staff were friendly and informative and spoke... More

Do not bother with this trip, they cram you on a small boat, where your shoved by other passengers, stop for food, where they let you dive for 20 mins if you can get to back of the boat, with the food queue. Then stop for a chance sighting of a whale or dolphin. 6 of us for £150 not... More

We are sorry to hear that you had a bad day. The Royal Delfin is a big boat, actually one of the biggest. according to review the customer "was crammed on a small boat" We do not have an excursion selling at 150Lb for 6 persons, we are more expensive. We do not make chance stops to se the cetaceans,... More

Amazing seeing dolphins and wales so close. Glass bottom boat meant that we were literally inches away from the dolphins and whales who came up to the boats! Well worth the money and also as the company is conscious about conservation and marine life welfare. Loved it.

We set of and after about half an hour of sailing we had some dolphins and lots of them including a mother and infant. Amazingly clear water so very good views saw some Whales but they were quite far away closer to another boat also we got to see a sea turtle. The boat stops in the bay and you... More

Adults and children in the group all agreed it was 3 hours really well spent. We set off around 10.30am in a large and spotless boat, and headed to see the whales, after being a bit dubious when we bought the tickets I'm glad to say my concerns were misguided. We seen both Whales and dolphins (the whales were actually... More
