I visited as a result of my family visiting there. Very few things touch me but the animals and staff were amazing. The work they do and love that they show is incredibly rare and precious. I never thought I liked Donkeys but they were such lovely characters. Everyone is so friendly and warm. I will go back every time... more

Well I must admit I was very nervous what we would find at the Nerja Donkey Sanctuary, but what a wonderful friendly, warm and happy place. Please please do take the time to make the short walk here. We stayed in Nerja for a week & took advantage of a short walk from our apartment to the Nerja Donkey Sanctuary. It was well worth it. We took carrots to feed the donkeys but ended up sharing them with the horse, goats & pigs as well!! There is no admission fee to the sanctuary & the volunteers working there... more
