Probably the most scenic beach in town, with the fishing boats on the shore. Despite its central location it was almost like having a private beach. You can walk or swim around to the two neighboring beaches.

Hired four sunbeds on a sunny November morning, on Papagayo Beach- so peaceful, shame the café bar wasn't open on the beach, didn't stay too long as the flies were so annoying!!

This was the worst beach we visited, there was actually rubbish on it. It's right underneath and to the left of the balcon (if you are facing the sea). I didn't even want to sit on it, we named it the dump beach!

Pick a sunny day to visit this wacky beach restaurant. Watch the wooden pallets catching fire under huge dishes of paella. Its cooked and served up by ultra friendly and efficient staff. What a fun place for a holiday lunch.

Pretty cove in the center of Nerja. Super beach-side restaurant. Simple, tasty, good value food & drink. Friendly, helpful staff. A lovely place to sit in the shade & have lunch.

This beach is a little jem and is very popular as it is just of the Balcon de Europe. Sun beds and sun brolly are available but get their early as they are snapped up by 10am.

Lovely restaurant located down the steps from the Balcon, food was excellent, looking out across the beach towards the sea. Really felt comfortable and best described as shabby chic, not fussy and if your in that, don't go. The drawback for me was having to climb the steps to get back to the town, kinda ruined the meal for me... More
