To be fair, it was 30 years ago when we used to visit the beach. There were no apartments or the road or shops or parking, the beach bars were little more than wooden shacks and the paella man did his thing directly on the beach. Is it any worse for it? I don't think so. Times have to change... More

I like to take a walk along the beach but it wasn't enjoyable because it was very rocky. It was impossible to find vacant sunbad and if you asked for a reservation for the next day they charged extra amount. We did several times but the next day we couldn't use the voucher because of the bad weather. Unfortunately the... More

Burriana beach area is lovely but be aware! After myself and my husband were walking back to the Balcon we were asked the time by a "pleasant, friendly Spanish man" and stupidly engaged in a bit of banter with him to only then realise he had taken my husband's wallet. It was the middle of the afternoon. Spanish police were... More

Clean sand, clear waters and very clean. Lots of amenities close by, impressive surroundings and a generally nice atmosphere. Lots of room to stretch out, especially this time of year when the weather is great but the crowds a little less daunting. Very well managed beach.

Very busy beach, but lots of loungers available. Shops and restaurants all along the beach. Lots of sand and water. Pleasant afternoon.

We only went on the evening - where it is quite pleasant with a wide choice of places to eat. Along the beach - which is stones and sand, are rows and rows of sun beds. It is like a factory farm for batteries of people to lie and burn!! I am sure Amnesty International would launch an appeal if... More

brilliant sandy beach, clean and well maintained. Numerous sun beds for hire all laid out in a well organised and tidy fashion. Loads of cafes, restaurants, shops so you can easily spend the whole day on the beach. Toilet blocks, free showers all in the beach area, kids play equipment all make it good for families. The beach is cleaned... More

With small sun bed areas, it didn't feel like a big expanse of sunbathers and the setting was simple, clean and all with natural effect umbrellas. Very cheap to hire for the day (€3.25) and we also got comfy mattresses included in this. The rest of the beach was open to all, mainly those with their own seats, brollies etc.... More

Excellent beaches for families with beach volley ball nets on the beach, childrens climbing frames and playgrounds along the beach. Excellent and family friendly restaurants along the beach. Excellent place to visit or to stay at.
