If you have a car its fine, but buses seem to be a bit thin on the ground long walk from Balcon de Europa, but worth it outstanding beach very good for toilet facilities its steep walk down and even harder going back due to coast erosion no way round

We were there out of season and it was a little sad as most places were closed. However, I'm sure that it would be lively in season as there were lots of restaurants and bars, giving a very different aspect to the area around the Balcon. Personally, I preferred the Balcon area.

lovely city beach, with beautiful stroll to reach it, and quite some good fish restaurants only a few steps away from the water

One of the many beaches in Nerja - small coves with lovely sand and dotted with beach bars serving cooling drinks and lovely food - lovely just to sit and watch the world go by before heading back to the pool!!!!

Great place to stroll, lovely little nooks and crannies to explore. Weather still very warm and sunny.

It has lots of bars and restaurants on the front. The shore is full of pebles making unconfortable to walk in for a swim.

The beach is very nice altho a bit hard to get to - if you stay in the Parador there is an elevator which takes you down to it. All of the "chiringuitos" (restaurants out on the beach) have about the same menus and prices, and the fish is very fresh.

If you fancy a beach day this is the one to go to as there is lots of tasty food nearby (especially La Barca). And it's only a short walk back into town.
