The largest of 12 beaches in Nerja with lots of facilities to offer from eating to sun bathing. You can eat Paella on the beach front cooked in the open air in massive pots - great atmosphere. Lots of sun loungers to lie on with a good choice of different types all of good quality. Playa de Burriana is reached... More

Good long coarse, sandy beach, some water sports - canoe hire, paragliding, etc (but off season when we were there). Loads of restaurants and beach bars, shops. Beach showers, public toilets, sun beds for hire. Pleasant 15 minute walk from Nerja Square, but VERY steep climb back up 'cardiac hill'. Though taxis were available.

Came here on several repeat visits whilst staying in the area in August. Nice laid back atmosphere, plenty of good places to eat and drink with a great clean beach/good bathing. Car parking challenging - just be patient!

nice beach. What else can add to this? In May water was cool (about 18 C). But people on the beach quite a bit.

Burriana is a nice, broad beach with plenty facilities, places to eat and drink. It is more a place for daytime and early evening entertainment because after 10PM it becoming more and more quiet by the hour and people usually move away to the centre of Nerja to visit one of the many lovely and atmospheric squares and tapas bars.Die... Plenty of reasonably priced sun beds. But it was February. Clean beach. Lots of great cafes/restaurants.
