I like this area because it is near the train station, opposite El Corte Ingles (large dept store a bit like Debenhams, but with a food hall) and much less touristy than the centre of Fuengirola. From here you can walk to the large Square which most days is a huge car park but on Tuesdays becomes a huge, open... More

This area makes a wonderful zone for relaxing and walking around. You can be shopping or looking on the beech, and we found prices always cost effective. So I recommend a visit, perhaps a couple of hours, depending on what you wish to do.

Handy for train station, if you are planning to visit Torremolinos go by train if you are planning to visit Benalmadena go by bus as it's a good 30 minutes walk to the Marina if you go by train

There is an El Corte Inglis shop at Los Boliches and if you keep walking there is a very large market there every Tuesday which is well worth a visit. Although when we go I don't take a handbag as I have heard of people being pick pocketed.

Lovely little seaside resort with quaint coffee shops on the main street, and many lively bars and bustling restaurants on the sea front. Well worth a stroll to.

We liked the quieter part of Fuengirola, it was nice being just that bit away. However, having the easy walking distance to Fuengirola when we wanted more. Beach and Train station within walking distance
