Good cosmopolitan area, good mix of nationalities, restaurants, bars, etc. Good shopping area too and close to the sea.

We really liked the beaches and the restaurants have really great food and reasonable prices. We disliked all the dog poop on the sidewalks but that seems to be a thing in Spain. It is really a disgusting habit that this country needs to fix.

Los Boliches is one Fuengirola's townships and situated between Torreblanca and the city center itself. It has many nice restaurants, some of them at the seaside but do not forget the side streets, too. Day time it is full of life with cafees and shops. E.g the Hemingways book shop is interesting. Love this place! We have been several times, staying at various hotels along the sea front and Hostels further back. There are some fantastic places to eat, El Rio is about the best steak house in town. Really friendly people, can't do enough for you whether you have been once or a 1000 times. Some great bars just off the front,... More

The area had the usual assortment of tourist-related bars and restaurants, tatty souvenir shops, etc., and one largish overpriced touristy shop. Best visited in order to get to the bus or train to go somewhere else.

We went twice, it's huge and worth a visit but be very careful as the pick pockets are rife, We got some great bargains and just wished we had a bigger suitcase to fill up with some of the fantastic bedding we saw. The town itself has some really good shops and supermarkets which were a lot cheaper than those... More
