A nice area to hang out, great Spanish feel to it and always a lot of locals about creating a good atmosphere. Number of bars and restaurants in the square. The little side streets around this area have lots of hidden gems as well

Great atmosphere in this bustling plaza which is rich in a lovely selection of varied bars and restaurants. A favourite amongst the local Spanish, especially in the evenings. Great for chatting, drinking, eating and people-watching!

Fuengirola town hall has made quite a few bad planning decision in the past ( the biggest for me was updating the beachbars the 1980´s !) but if by choice or accident in the Plaza de los Chinorros they have created a lovely plaza environment we a good mix of bars and a great spanish square atmosphere. Its our favourite... More

We have been regular visitors to the Plaza since it started to develop a few years ago and have to say that, whilst some of the prices are high compared to the more urban Spanish taps bars, the food is fantastic. Picoteo is an excellent gastro-tapas bar where the staff are always ready to help out with suggestions and advice.The... More

This is a great square whith several options for good dinning, some light entertainment, and the best people watching around! We ate at a lovely tapas bar just off the square. Great sangria and many tapas to choose from. Be careful of the musicians as they will want money if you pay them any attention, but it is sometimes deserved.

Just so Spanish and not tourist type place. Very classy. Liked the live buskers, the coffee houses and people watching.

This is a lovely little square, lined by several bars, tapas bars, cafe's etc. Many of them are great! It is literally around the corner from the main square. The little side streets around this area have lots of hidden gems as well. Worth spending a good few hours enjoying the ambiance and alcohol!

Gin Tonic is now replacing the VINO in Spain. There are also a specialty gin tonic bars all over Spain. At the Plaza there are two at least. Gin Tonic is NOT served any more in a straight glass. It is served in a large balloon glass with large ice blocks to avoid it to melt too fast. The barman... More

A lovely area to sit and people watch. A typically Spanish Square full of tapas bars all with outdoor terraces to sit back and relax with a nice meal or tapas and a drink.
