We toured the Costa Del Sol and spent one night in Fuengirola. First impressions were not great on a quiet evening in January, but this area was pretty good. Most Spanish resorts have such a square/area and there was nothing remarkable about this one, however there was some vibrancy and life in an otherwise down beat town and it helped... More

This is the best place by far to find a great Spanish restaurant or bar in Fuengirola, or just sit and watch to world go by. Far better than anything that "Fish Alley" (really Calle Cruz and Calle Moncayo) have to offer and also close to Plaza de la Constitucion which is also really great. When all else is dead,... More

Forget "fish alley" with its bland restaurants catering to the passing tourist trade, if you want to sample authentic Spanish atmosphere and food, this is the place to come. Tucked away behind the post office this little traffic free square is lined with bars and restaurants. It is busy from noon until late evening with people coming here for a... More

Found this Plaza, whilst out for a stroll. Stopped for a drink and loved it. The bar we were in whose name I missed was on a corner looking at The Colon. The waiter was very friendly and the service excellent. Toilets were spotless as was the restaurant area.

A great place to sit and watch the world go by.Surrounded by bars/restaurants and something going on most days and nights.Right in the middle of town near both bus and train stations and 400 metres from seafront.

We came across this hidden gem completely by accident and love it! Lots of fantastic trendy tapas bars and what an atmosphere! You will find it off the main church square and behind "Correos" post office.

This is a lovely plaza. Mainly Spanish people but well used to tourists. Great for tapas and a glass of vino.

we spent an hour each evening sitting in this square with a massive drink watching people passing by, enjoying street entertainers and admiring the finery on show. All the bars/restaurants busy with a cross section of locals and some tourists (in the minority) and this made it a great social occasion.

A nice area to hang out, great Spanish feel to it and always a lot of locals about creating a good atmosphere. Number of bars and restaurants in the square. The little side streets around this area have lots of hidden gems as well

Great atmosphere in this bustling plaza which is rich in a lovely selection of varied bars and restaurants. A favourite amongst the local Spanish, especially in the evenings. Great for chatting, drinking, eating and people-watching!
