I have already reviewed one the eating houses on the square and was impressed. There are at least four others we will be trying before we go home. Sunday lunch time is special with the locals eating with the whole family, three or more generations. The only downside is the modern and very ugly Post Office building that dominates and... More

interesting plaza but difficult to get a seat, even in April. Dread to think how busy it will be in summer. Stood and watched some street entertainers. Managed to get a seat one night but I think they expected you to eat there as well as have a drink. Good for people watching

Had a lovely afternoon in Fuengirola last week, starting in Plaza de la Constitution for a drink then moving on to 3-4 of the tapas bars in La Plaza de los Chinorros. How this square has changed recently. It used to be somewhere you used to walk through, perhaps on your way to the Italian restaurant or to buy sausages... More

La Plaza de Los Chinorros is situated south of the town next to La Plaza de la Constitution. Its packed with tapas bars and restaurants. In my opinion the whole area around La Plaza de los Chinorros is by far the best part of Fuengirola. I would recommend spending a Sunday afternoon there just drinking wine, eating oysters and people... More

La Plaza de los Chinorros is located at the back of the main post office in Fuengirola...if you were in the main church square - with the church to your back - walk across the square, down the street to the right and just before the post office turn into the side street on your right hand side. This little... More

This square is the most important meeting place for everyone visiting Fuengirola at all hours. Tapas bars and restaurants all around to more them acceptable prices both for food and drinks. Go there

Lovely atmosphere in the square. Great place to have tapas and watch the world go by. Been to most of the bars and they are all good.

Being winter, Fuengirola, is in it's quiet time. However there is a promotion in progress called, "la cazuela de la abuela". All participating eateries present a casserole type dish tapas style with a drink for 2euro. The square has several restaurants involved and when we visited it, it was a buzz. It was so much fun to sit and enjoy... More

We toured the Costa Del Sol and spent one night in Fuengirola. First impressions were not great on a quiet evening in January, but this area was pretty good. Most Spanish resorts have such a square/area and there was nothing remarkable about this one, however there was some vibrancy and life in an otherwise down beat town and it helped... More
