It is tradition every time we go to fuengirola to go to the market. There is something nice about being in the sun shopping. It's best to get there early before it gets to crowded and gridlocked in some parts. Lots of bags and sandals, belts , yappy dog toys and stuff. The stalls seem to be repeated over and over... More

Visited here for the first time in many years. Much bigger. Loads of stalls with good priced products although gets repetitive. The fresh produce is amazing even just to look at. They don't haggle like they used to which was a real disappointment as that was part of the fun. Great wee pop-up cafes just outside although the many 'lucky-lucky'... More

Yes there are many many stalls, most are like car boot sales selling second hand goods ranging from toys to clocks and of course there are plenty of the "looky looky" men selling "fake michael kors bags - 30 euros", "nike trainers & football kits 20 euros. There are also lots of people selling colds drinks at 1 euro a... More

Situated in central Fuengirola a short walk from the beach a huge market selling all sorts of items from clothes to electronics, food to bags and local crockery. Lots of bag stalls becomes a bit repetative. No shade so can be very hot. Stalls start packing at about 1.30. Local bus 1, 4, 5 run past market. Train station close... More

I've been several times before but it was my wife's first time. It's a huge market and has plenty on offer if you're looking for bargains Only a short walk away from the main town

Not impressive, but if you have a couple of spare hours to invest it could be worth your time. My wife and I parked near by to walk around and look at the various stands for art crafts and potential souvenirs or presents.

I should point out that I opted for the smaller Sunday market, there is a larger market on Saturday and Tuesday so I have been told. We also arrived there at approx 11:20am so certainly not before the crowds. We drove into Fuengirola with the aim to park the car relatively close to the market however there was more chance... Very big market, much larger than I expected. If you are in the area then it's worth going. Due to the size of it after getting half way through, the stalls start to get a bit samey. But there is a food stall section with fresh local fruit and veg and lots of different teas and spices.

Being visiting la Costa del Sol, we were eager to also visit a street market. Almost every city in Spain has one, especially in touristic and producing regions. The one is Fuengirola is fairly big, open on Tuesdays. Near the front are all the stalls selling artifacts, like ceramics or wooden objects, etc. Further deep going North you can find... More
