Visited today and yes there are stalls and stalls but it reminded me of the Peter Kay buffet gag "Oh look sausage rolls, vol au vents, chicken legs, sausage rolls, vol au vents, chicken legs" Only it was handbags, sun glasses, shoes, handbags, sunglasses, shoes. That said there is one whole section dedicated to fruit and veg which was very... More

Lots of positive reviews about this market so we decided to recce when there in November in readiness for a visit over Christmas and New Year when we will be catering for ourselves and hope to cook with lots of fresh local produce. I obviously needed to read the reviews properly rather than skim through because Saturday is NOT a... More

We have been visiting the market since 2006, usually twice each year. On a Tuesday morning we catch the train in Malaga, enjoy the journey, and like everyone else on the train, we disembark at Los Boliches and walk along to the market. Whether we need things or not, we usually by some ceramics, leather belts and a few 'irresistible'... More

Every tuesday, loads of stalls selling leather bags, clothes, jewellery, pots and pans, plants and flowers and a huge selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. There is also a flea market on a saturday.

My favourite is the Tuesday market where I go to look for fresh fruit produce. When I was there in June cherries were so abundant and cheap. Just enjoy the buzz and watching life go in slow motion by at a nearby cafe. There is a clothing and hardware Sunday morning market too near the vicinity of Hotel Piramides in... More

When I first heard of street market I though it would be traditional. Unfortunately most of the stalls are selling replica shoes and clothing much like 5th lucky men at the beach front. Passed a morning all the same. We got a taxi for 6 euro from the myarmar shopping complex.

This market is one of the best we have visited. Yes some stall were selling tat, but it was interesting just browsing the stalls and seeing what was on offer. There were hundreds to look at.

We went to this fair 15 years ago when it was much more a craft and local food fair. Now its got a lot of Chinese merchandise. It is still worth visiting.

Visited the market on both days and was left a bit let down on both occasions. The large area of stalls only proves that size is not everything and we found it to be repetitive with no real soul. It does get crowded and in the heat can be a bit unpleasant but there are plenty of watering holes in... More
