We have been going to Fuengirola for years and there are two main markets, One on Sunday Morning from 10am till 1.30pm which is easy to get around and is basically a smaller version of the very large market on a Tuesday Morning. The Sunday Morning one can be found by walking along the beach up towards the Castle and... More

A market one has to see. I heard that it was the biggest in Europe and it is. It is on every Tuesday. If you follow the aquaduct away from the beach you will find it. It has all the usual stuff but an awful lot of it so easy enough to haggle with the vendors. It also has one... More

Went to the market on tuesday after being told its really good. It is a big market but every stall seemed to be the same. Fake sunglasses and bags and some typical market clothing. Left after 20 minutes.

Tuesday market in fuengirola was great. Just wandering around the stalls. So much choice and anything you wanted you could find. Very busy and the biggest one I have ever been to. We were a 10 to 15 minute walk into the main town from the market. Coffee and refreshments just beside market for a wee break fro the heat... More

We were traveling through Spain in a motor-home and desperately needed a different kind of propane bottle than we had from Germany. Someone tipped us off that we could find one at the Fuengirola market and we did! Right off the bat and very cheap. We use it to this day. The market was huge - you could spend hours... More

Tuesday market and very popular. Selling normal Spanish market goods. Quite spacious so not on top of each other. Live music at the entrance by the cafe's.

Dropped in on Saturday just past, amazed at how large it was, figured we spend easily an hour or two. As posted by others, a lot of tat and used items (mobiles, electronics, etc.) of unknown provenance. (buyer beware!) For the tourist looking for souvenirs, a bit lame. But if you are on a long stay holiday or have bought... More

The market is quite interesting but, as vegetarians, we had a great deal of difficulty in getting a vegetarian meal in Fuengirola. There is no shortage of restaurants but they should strive for a little more diversity and try to cater for all.
