There are some gemstone and pearl dealers, spice stalls, silk mix scarves and some Italian clothes if that's your thing. However 75% of the market is knock... More

We left after 5 minutes. The only things worth looking at were the fruit stands. The rest was only cheap, ugly merchandise.

lots of bargins at this market ,be careful of the pushy sellers trying to get you to buy stuff ,a very enjoyable large place but hardly any seating to sit down in the market area but once on the outside area of the market there are plenty of cafes and restaurants ,the train station is about 15/20 min walk away... Been numerous times in the past 2 decades but not very recently, sounds as though it's gone "down market"- sorry about that! We always enjoyed it and never had any trouble with theft. Gets very hot in summer after 1000, wear cotton clothes and a hat and carry plenty of agua. My abiding memory will always be the water seller's... More

The Tuesday market is rather popular in fuengirola. A vast array of stalls some very similar selling everything from bags to spices. Prepare to barter on some stalls. A warning is keep you belongings close to you. Can get rather warm and is best to visit early in the day
