On a Tuesday morning in the fairground area. There is a wide range of things on offer. Is usually really busy , but just be aware of your bag and purse.

The market is quite big and gets very busy. Be very aware of pick pockets! I know two different people who were very cautious of them but still had their wallets stolen. There are lots of different stalls but like most markets a lot of them are the same.

Travelled to Fuengirola from Benalmadena on bus M120. Standing room only, which is common apparently. Commotion on the bus near to arriving at Fuengirola, somebody shouted "watch your wallets", just as we reached the bus stop. One of our party of 5 had had their wallet stolen. Bus driver did not want to know, thieves had disappeared of course. This... More

Have visited this market many times over the years, it almost became part of the holiday. My husband enjoys the bartering for a bargain , and we have had many! Ceramics are pretty and some are unusual,( although over the years we have seen similar in English markets.) We have always found the stall holders friendly and willing to try... More

Went around this market as a tourist and I guess I was wasting my time. You gotta know spanish well to deal with them marketeers. Nothing really interesting unless you stay there for long period and have a car to move around. Taxi's are a rip-off so you might as well rent a car for a week if you are... More

Nothing spectacular; fruit, veg, clothes, toys etc etc. A market for the locals, don't make a special trip down as there is nothing to really to see.

Best market I have ever been to due to the fact that the missus parked me in one of the many bars near the entrance while she went shopping. She tells me that it was fantastic with a huge variety of stalls and reasonable prices which are still open to a bit of haggling.

My daughter and I have just come back from Fuengirola and visited both of the markets the one on Tuesday is really huge and sells most of the stuff you would expect. I agree the pottery is great and could have spent a fortune if I could have got it all home. The Flea Market on Saturday is wonderful, its... More

We visited on Tuesday at the end of October 2013 and spent a pleasant couple of hours souvenir hunting. The ceramics are wonderful, as are the spice stalls. There is some repetition of the stalls, but no more than the markets in the UK. Visitors just need to use a bit of common sense when purchasing - does something seems... More
