I've often been to o'mearas over the years and I can recommend all their shrubs and trees although they are a good deal pricier than other local garden centres. Staff here are very good and knowledgeable when it comes to gardening and if they don't have what your looking for they will order it in and always contact you when... More

O'Mearas garden centre is a reallly good quality garden centre with very knowledgeable staff. The centre is a good size with lots of outdoor plants as well as the ones inside. There is a lovely cafe in the centre serving lovely sweet treats. It is a nice way to pass an hour at the weekend even if you are not... More

Was told about O'Mearas by another retired couple, and decided when we were in Mullingar to visit it. As a keen gardner what a supprise I got, what an array of plants, I can only immagine if it is that good at this time of year, what is would be like in Spring/summer. I met a gentleman there (who i... More

Went to the garden centre this week as I had some english friends over staying with me this week, brought them to the coffee shop first to enjoy a lovely fresh cup of coffee and a large warm scone, my friends went for the cake instead of the scone, they loved the coffee shop, and the welcoming fire. The shop... More

This is so much more than a garden centre, it's a coffee shop and gift shop to, ok it's a little bit more expensive than say woodies I reckon 10% but how many times in Woodies have you got the "shurged shoulders", well not in O'Mearas. If they don't know they find out. Easy to spend an hour or two... More

I was there few years ago before Christmas. This Garden Centre impressed me with good quality goods and plants. But prices were rather high.

This garden centre is out of town about four miles outside Mullingar and has a good selection of products but everything I knew the approximate price of say in Woodies would be at least 30 or even 50% more expensive in Omears. I do a fair amount of gardening and there would be some things that are not available in... More
