Highly recommend a visit to Belvedere House. The gardens are lovely. Beautiful peaceful location. So much history to be learnt. Stop & have a coffee or some lunch.

Delighted when we arrived to find it was an open day with lots of extras. Lovely scenery and well kept paths and places to sit and admire the surroundings. Can't wait to visit in the summer time.

I visited with a previous partner but I found it a great spot to go for a romantic walk. I would visit once a year anyways.

Loved the gardens and visit inside this old house . It has a great story behind it with the locked up wife and the Jealous wall . Lovely coffee shop too

went to Belvedere House to get wedding photos taken. the natural beauty of this location is amazing. the old castle ruins are stunning and the romantic paths and big trees make for a beautiful setting. the staff however were not very helpful in showing us where to go, park our cars etc. i think a specific staff member should be... The garden was lovely and the history of the house was well-described. the original owner kept his wife under house-arrest for about 30 years because he thought she was cheating on him. He would be in prison today, but in those days, it was good to be upper class. Apparently you could do whatever you liked.

Lovely place. I had to pay 10€ to visit it, but it was worth it! Nice walks, a lake, buildings... Good way to spend a Saturday. The house is amazing and the views breathtaking. There were also people selling stuff like a special occasion. Good food in the cafeteria, and playground for kids as well.

Set in lovely countryside with nice gardens and you are able to walk around the house and see rooms dating back hundreds of years. A nice café, shop and facilities has been recently opened and is very nice. For children there are some goats and donkeys and a play area. This house/gardens is worth visiting for a half day..
