A house worth visiting

Went with two kids 5 and 7,loved both the House and area around it.Would definitely need at least half a day to experience the visit.

We went here with our children and they really had a great time running around finding the bear, the fairy garden and all the different playareas around the grounds. The house itself is well worth a visit as the history is fascinating. The in let down came from the extremely poor service in the café. We decided to have lunch... More

Lovely walks, lake shore and woodlands, lots of fun for the whole family to enjoy. Belvedere House well worth a stop off. The walled garden in great condition and worth taking time to stroll. Before you leave stop off for tea or coffee and a bite to eat in the cafe.

Beautiful, well-tended gardens and peaceful forest walks - lots of fun for all ages. Lovely cafe on site also with plenty to choose from and good value for money. All staff very helpful and friendly.

We've been here twice & have had a lovely time with the family. There are lots of interesting walks to go on as well as two kids play areas for the little ones. A good place to walk the dog if you have one.

Easy to find your way here as it was well signposted. Very friendly & helpful staff. We arrived in time to join a guided tour being part of Heritage week. Our guide Bridget had a great knowledge of both Belvedere house & the man & his family who built it. The jealous wall was amazing & the walled garden was... More

Great tour as part of heritage week. The kids were not too bored and enjoyed looking in the fairy garden.

what an amazing place and on this our first visit we can't wait to get back there with our grandkids! First thing you see as you leave the big car park is the ruins of a castle or monastery, which we found out is called the Jealous Wall and I am not going to spoil your visit by saying anymore... I like the shop and cafe and strolling through the grounds. Apart from refreshments I didn't buy anything as the shop and cafe are a bit pricey. However, while the indoor area is quite compact, the decor and ambience are delightful. On a sunny day it is a very pleasant, olde worlde location to pass an hour or so if... More

We went on a warm sunny day a rarity in Ireland! The house and story behind the wicked earl was very inter but the walk on the longer earls trail was breathtaking. Especially the fairy garden and lakeside seats. The scenery of the lake was stunning. Zip line and lots of play areas. A real gem👍
