Belevdere House

Lovely setting and really lovely walks. Restaurant very good too. Thought the Receptionist was a bit 'stressed' but overall it was a very positive experience

My husband and I spent a few hours here with our children while staying in Mullingar. It was a gorgeous sunny day so we all thoroughly enjoyed our walk through the grounds and the kids enjoying playing in the play park. The walled garden and fairy garden were great as was the self guided tour of the house. There are... More

Myself and my family had a fantastic time in belvedere house and gardens today for the easter treasure hunt. The sun was splitting the stones which was a huge bonus. Every child seemed to enjoy the hunt for clues and at the end everyone got to meet the easter bunny. This was a much better run affair than last years... More

We went here on Easter Day for the Easter egg hunt. We had to book online but it was still so busy when we got here. The staff dealt fantastically with the customers and moved things along as fast as they could. It was very well organised and we had to find clues all over the estate. It was a... More

What a beautiful place. Fabulous setting, on a lake. Beautiful gardens and woodlands to stroll around, and plenty to get the kids imaginations going. Well worth a visit. Cafe was very good too.

The view of the lake is lovely from the back of the house. The house itself is very interesting and the strolls relaxing.

We had a great few hours here, beautiful gardens quite extensive grounds, but very interesting history around the various families who have owned this property. Would make a great film.

The grounds of Belvedere House offer a suberb location for walking. I'm sure coming into spring they must be quite stunning. It is a great spot for a nature walk with a spot of bird-watching and the tantalising hope of seeing the red squirrell. The exhibitions are worth seeing as is the splendid house with its wonderful ceilings. This is... More
