I had an idea of rising the famous icelandic horse in the end of my month trip. I've chosen this company because they have pretty nice prices and pick-up from Reykjavik Campsite. I was riding for the first time and I had a great time. Enjoyed 2 hours trip, would visit once again if I will have a chance! Thanks... More

We came for a one hour ride, since we were beginners. The ride leaders were very patient and kind to the kids, and the horses were sweet as can be. (Maybe all Icelandic horses are like this. I grew up with an occasional ride on the East coast, and man, those horses are just impossible.) There were 10 of use... More

The staff here were really nice and accommodated me into one of their tours with only about 45 mins notice. The horses were friendly and responsive, and it ended up being fun. The area around the ride isn't the MOST scenic ever by Icelandic standards, but it's certainly picturesque. The only major complaint I had was the flies, which on... More

They picked us up from our guesthouse and drove us the whole way, time was taken to pick us a horse based on our ability. smiles all round. we then went on a hack along the road and then around a mountain. guide was very friendly and told us about the unique breed of Icelandic horse. hack lasted about two... We had a great time on our Icelandic horses. The hosts were very nice, helpful. It was a relaxing trip. We were able to tolt on part of our ride. This was a lot of fun. We were in the saddle 2 hours. The company picked us up and brought us back to our hotel. Well worth the money.

We traveled through Iceland for 10 days last year, and our young son was very keen to ride an Icelandic horse. Note that none of us ride. On our last full day, we booked a half-day guided lesson with this company. We had a great instructor, and the horses chosen suited us. My son walked away with a wonderful memory... More

Me and my boyfriend booked a tour via their webpage (which by the way was very informative) without really knowing which place would be the best to go to when riding Icelandic horses near Reykjavik. I have ridden a lot when I was younger and my boyfriend is a beginner, which makes it a little hard to find something that... More

We did just a one hour trail ride as very beginner riders. The owners did a great job matching riders to horses. The guide checked in with us on our pace and comfort. Our group was just the guide and 5 riders, a nice small group. We loved it!!

Booked the 3.5 hour riding tour, up the mountain to the hot springs and back again. It was my first time riding a horse ever and the wind was awfully strong that morning. But it all went great. We got picked up in the morning in Reykjavík and from there it was a smooth and safe trip. The people of... More
