Nice trails

The lake is nice and we had a good time investigating several of the hiking trails. The facilities at the lake were convenient.

When my Mom lived in Eureka Springs ten years ago, I rode my mountain bike around Lake Leatherwood one day; great exercise!

Caught a few fish, nice fishing as it is a no wake lake. There's a little swim beach and a place to jump off into the lake, looks fun for families with kids.

My husband & I went to Eureka Springs for a romantic getaway & happened to drive by the sign for this lake & decided to stop & check it out. They have cabins for rent starting at only $75 per night,as well as boat, canoe, & kayak rentals. They have an awesome place for swimming with a landing out in... More

Check it out if you go to Eureka Springs area. Small lake that rents paddle boats, canoes .... Looks like people swim in the warmer months. They rent camping spots, as well as cabins, seems very clean and well kept.

Lots of trails; we wanted to stay close to the water & off some of the steeper terrain, so we parked near the marina & took the Fuller trail to the little dam at the far end of the lake and then took Beacham trail back. Fuller was nice, relatively level easy walking with just a few puddles/rocks/roots to navigate... More

Visited on an early late-April Sunday morning for a hike. We found a good map of the trails at the visitor center on our way into town. The trails are clean, quiet, and not too challenging. We hiked for about 5 miles and only saw two other small groups of people. Not much else going on here, we didn't fish... More

I like the oldness and lack of people when i have been there. Have been many times and not crowded. I do not travel during july & aug.

There didn't seem to be much to do there, but we only went for a short visit in the afternoon. The little shop was closed at the marina.

We went to Lake Leatherwood to hike on two different days. The first day we had trouble finding the trails we had read about and wanted to try out. We ended up hiking to The Point on Fuller Trail. The Point was pretty and peaceful, but the hike itself wasn't very interesting, so we turned around at The Point and... More
