Description:

Performed from May through October, The Great Passion Play in Eureka...

Performed from May through October, The Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs, Arkansas is "America's #1 Attended Outdoor Drama." Since 1968, the Play has been seen by over 7.7 Million people from all over the world. The Play is performed beneath the night sky by a cast of around 150 actors and many live animals as well. Our hope and prayer is to make the Scriptures come alive! THE BIBLE MUSEUM is open every day except Sunday, 10:00am until 5:00pm. On days of Play performances, the Museum is open until 8:00pm (7:00pm after Labor Day). SACRED ARTS MUSEUM - Open every day before the Play from 11:00am - 8:00pm (after Labor Day until 7:00pm). Non-play days by appointment. THE HOLY LAND TOUR - a two-and-a-half-hour to three-hour guided tour. Guests are transported back in time as they walk through a full-sized replica of the East Jerusalem Gate and Marketplace to Biblically inspired exhibits which include Moses' Tabernacle in the Wilderness, Bethlehem Inn and the Nativity, the Upper Room, the Garden Tomb, the Walk with Peter, and other exhibits which depict life in Bible times. All exhibits have been researched archaeologically and historically for authenticity. Tours run on day of Play performances from 12:00pm-4:00pm. There is walking at each stop. The longest time walking at any one stop is approximately thirty minutes. During days the Play is not performed, we also have special guided tours of the Holy Land, backstage area, and lunch. These tours happen throughout the year every day but Sunday. Advanced reservations are required for these off-season tours.

The Passion Play is an amazing production! I went many years ago and then hubby and I attended the play in October 2015. Although we know the passion week story from the Bible, watching this play takes you right into the action and the set is so well done I felt as if I was there watching it all happen.... More

If you haven't seen the passion play then you're really missing out. And if you have ONLY seen the play, then you are still missing out. We spent an entire day on the grounds (9 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.) and enjoyed every minute! We took the holy land tour, took an in-depth study of the tabernacle, saw the Parables of... More

The sound was excellent. The scenery and backdrop also excellent. The live animals were impressive. The crucifixion scene was moving. The actors were all well dressed. Stadium seating was adequate. Gift shop was typical. Ticketing was speedy. Parking was ample and not to far away. There are some stairs involved and one sloped area that would be hard but not... More

This is an outdoor stage at Eureka Springs, Arkansas of the portrayal of Christ's last days. There are many activities outside the auditorium that we did not have time for during this visit but want to return and see. This is a non-profit activity and should not be missed! Very moving!!

This production, with a fantasic set in a beautiful amphitheater, tells the gospel story of our loving God who sent His only Son to seek and save the lost! I recommend spending the day to see: Christ of the Ozarks 67' statue; the amazing Holy Land Tour; the fascinating Bible Museum and Sacred Arts Museum; David the Shepherd & Parables... More

The Passion Play was very good. The scenery was excellent . So colorful and aunthenity. There were so many settings. It was so amazing to see everything so well coordinated. We could see everything from our seats. I especially enjoyed the Holy Land Tour. The men and women on the tour were serious and great at their jobs. We also... More

The best live show I have ever seen, so real, wonderful cast, stage and costumes! Sitting above looking down at all the stages was wonderful, the rocks where the three crosses were lifted was so believable you felt like you were there. And the beauty of the large white statue showing thru the trees in the evening was unbelievable.
