Interesting to discover that many different grapes are cultivated here that don't exist in our area and that many of their vines are of necessity hybrids. Debbie gave an interesting presentation and seems to have a good grasp of local grape cultivation. Our time was well spent here.

My wife and I each tried the tasting and bought a bottle of the "Embarassed" Red wine. We each tried a total of 6: 3 whites, 2 reds, and a port - $8 per person. All were good. Knowledgable, friendly staff. They answered all of our questions, offered up some good wine stories, and told us the history about the... More

We stopped in and did the tasting. I understand it's a fixed price tasting and they only had certain bottles open for the tasting. They covered some of their whites, reds and ports during our tasting. We had a pleasant tasting and both ladies working in the tasting or the sale shop were polite and pleasant. No complaints re our... More

My husband and I toured the winery and also tasted a few of the different types. We enjoyed our time there. The art was beautiful and the staff was warm and knowledge.

This is a small local winery that is owned by a retired chemist. We enjoyed speaking to the nice lady who served us. We got the small glass and tasted 6 wine samplings. One with Chocolate. All were good and we left with a bottle of red wine. It was worth the stop, we saw some interesting local art and... More

OK. If you go to a winery, you expect to taste a sample of all the wines on the list (not just the ones that are open) especially for $8, but you get to keep the glass! On the other hand, after tasting the wines, we didn't really want to taste anymore. The hostess was superb and told us how... More

We really enjoy going to wineries so we know what we are buying. This is a very nice place and is also a gallery for local art, these artists are also featured on the wine bottles. There was a tasting in progress when we arrived so we spoke with Doug at the front and enjoyed the art while we waited.... More

We (4) visited this winery on Oct. 18th and were given a sheet of the wines as we are accustomed. However, upon receipt of such we were told we would not be choosing any wines from the list that we would be given the wines from the "bottles that were open". Isn't the whole point of attending a winery to... More

We taste several dry and semi-dry wines, the lady that poured new their wines and explained each wine. We ended up buying a bottle of semi-sweet wine called Embarrassed, this could have been a mistake in process but the taste was spot on. We did mention a national wineries brand which she poo-pooed even though they had a silver rating... More

This was a nice stop from the norm. Had a wine tasting and browsed the local art from their resident artists. Although my husband and I are more into sweet wines, the tasting and education of the local wines and vineyards was great.
