The staff was ver friendly. After the self tour the staff took the time to show my husband the best places to visit and eat. This place is highly recommended

Caves aren't for everybody, we happen to enjoy them. This cave features a self guided tour. You are given headphones at the desk before you go into the cave, there are spots along the path where you press a button to hear the history. At each button location lights come on to show you what they are talking about. Once... More

Lots of fun. Wear sturdy shoes with good soles. Not for small children or the mobility impaired. Nice people.

I enjoyed the drive to the Onyx because it was so pretty! Many beautiful trees, and long winding roads on the drive. The cave wasn't very big, but because it was a walk through cave and I had two little boys with me, I was glad. I have been in caves that were much bigger and took many hours to... More

It was okay, but once was enough. I am not much of a cavern guy, so probably not my cup of tea. Kids liked it, so it was worth it, but probably once was enough

No too expensive for a self guided tour, if was very interesting but I don't know how enjoyable if it had been really busy. To get back out of the cave you have to back track and some of the smaller children who were just running around and having fun might have been a little disruptive for people who were... More

Cute bats and geckos greet you on this self-guided tour into a great cave experience. You get headsets that give information on the different areas you will see, so you can spend as little or as much time at each spot as you wish. The lighting is quite interesting and the paths are safe and well maintained. Some really neat... More

We had a really great time in the cave. It is a self guided tour so we could go at our own pace. People were friendly and had a lot of information to share as well.
