One of those places you've got to visit to believe. The water is clear and magnificent views of the Ozarks!

Spend the weekend at Hickory Creek Park with the families on 4th of July weekend. I have to say that this park wasn't what I thought it is. The landscaping wasn't up to standard compare to other campsite that I've camp overnite, dishonest workers, firework show was a JOKE, and restroom near the boat launch is NASTY!!! The campsite didn't... More

Growing up going to Lake of the Ozarks, Beaver Lake is a refreshing change with clear water and it's not crowded so you can actually enjoy being out on the water. We love it!

A clean and well managed lake with great campgrounds. The points of interest are well marked and easy access. Below the dam are many great fishing areas, with several boat ramps. Take the time to get off the main roads and explore. We found hidden Forest Service campgrounds deep in the woods.

The lake was beautiful as we watched the clouds come down over the water and the rain started. Our view from the deck of our cabin at Sugar Ridge was perfect.

Beaver Lake is home to Starky's Marina where you can stock and fuel your boat, rent a pontoon for half or all day. Big 1 Striper guide can pick you up and fish with a pro or you can put in at the park and take off yourself. Beaver Lake has about a 30' vis on a normal day, making... More

Gorgeous lake with crystal clear water. Great places to anchor your boat and swim or jump off nearby rocks into the warm water. Be warned though, these aren't sandy beaches. Some of the rocks near the shores are slippery and sharp. I recommend wearing sandals or water shoes if you plan on walking around.

We rented a house on vrbo right on Beaver lake in Garfield. The dock to the house was just off the shore, and the water was already about 7 feet deep, but you could see all the way to the bottom. Such clear, pretty water. Lots of fish and pretty scenery. I would definitely rent here again!
