We try to get to Beaver Lake at least once a year. We went this May for our 15th Anniversary and stayed at the Ventris Trail Resort. The resort was way off the beaten path, and the restaurant wasn't open for breakfast, but we liked our cabin, its porch swing and jacuzzi... very quiet relaxing setting. We also met up... more
Beautiful views. We didn't get on the water as we went after it closed. Lake was 20 feet low also and you could see so much more than you could normally see. Dam was nice. more

Tucked away in the beautiful Ozark mountains, Beaver Lake is a deep, clear, man-made body of water. This is not really a "party" lake, but is great for fishing or recreational boating.
