This is one of the most pristine lakes in the lower 48 making it a top destination for fisherman & scuba divers. Beautiful soaring limestone cliffs and an abundance of wildlife make it a favorite with birdwatchers, hikers, and water-sports enthusiasts. Great fishing for walleye, stripers, bass, and trout. One of the top attractions in Eureka Springs West. More

Local Spripper guide could only help us land a Gar fish after 5 hours on the lake. Not quite worth the trip up, Cassville, Mo has some great trout fishing though. More

Beaver is our favorite lake, water is so clear and its large enough to not feel crowded. Campgrounds fill fast so make reservations. More

Very busy lake and many of the coves were closed to swimming due to polluted waters. There is also a lot of houses around the lake which takes away from the natural beauty and probably adds to the pollution. More

The lake is beautiful and easy to find from Eureka Springs. The fee to use even the picnic areas or to get anywhere close to the lake was bothersome. More

Beautiful blue cool refreshing lake. The fishing is fantastic, and the family will really enjoy all the recreation there is for them. Jet skiing, to boating, and of course great swimming. Kids will be glad you took them and beg to return (if they love the lakes) More

I wish we could have rented a boat and spent the day on the lake, but unfortunately the only boat rental place we could find thought that tourists were for ripping off. Needless to say, the horrendous price and the principle stopped us from doing this. My husband used to live by this lake as a child, and has many... More
