We rented a large pontoon boat for the day and toured a lot of the lake for hours. We spent time fishing as well and caught a lot of fish. The lake is beautiful in every way....water and shore scenery. We spent 7:45 of our 8 hour rental on the lake to enjoy the max. We will definitely return and... More

We walked by the lake. Too cold for a swim, but wish that we could have. The damn was huge and impressive. Many great walking paths all around the lake.

came for the fall colors on our bikes and went home via 181 so we passed this beautiful lake, so enjoyed the view high up on the bridge, coming down and stopped at the bottom for more view.

We use this lake to train new divers. It's a 4 hour drive from KC, but well worth it. The visibility can be great if you get there before all the silt it stirred up. We usually dive the "bluffs" but there are several other nice dive sites right around there.

We went down and the leaves were still turning, the fog was rolling over the lake and it was just a gorgeous place to see early in the morning as the sun came up

A beautiful place. Swimming is weird (no good access) and some people have drowned there. However, there is good fishing and kayaking.
