Whenever I visited here with my friends all of them really impressed with storied stone made pinnacle temple. The carvings are exquisite as they done by hand and without any special equipment. During earthquake I feared that it will be completely demolished but it has survived the major part! This landmark is motivation of many photographers and painters.

This tree storied temple looks like a hand carved jewel. The metal shines with glints and glares on a summer afternoon. The temple itself is centre point of visit in Patan. It stands in the middle of Durbar square and is usually easy to find. a visit and sit at the premises to claim the respite of the shadows.

Krishna Mandir is perhaps the most beautiful of all the temples in the Kathmandu Valley. Dedicated to Krishna, the grey stone building has an airy look because of the multiple columns on each of the three levels. The structure is octagonal and is surmounted by a splendid dome with a golden finial. Multiple porches are on every side of the... More

in this mandir the original shape od the indian classical shikara has been modified . in this elegant three floors building the slim pillars give an air of lightness to the gray stone. the decoration is sober and enhances the game of shade and ligh of the porticos . during Krishna Astami, about the end of august ,the temple is surrounded...
