Cosmic Cavern was discovered in 1845, but wasn'€™t developed until 1927. The cave features a 9 foot soda straw the longest known in the Ozarks, and two bottomless lakes. One of the lakes was discovered in 1993 in the "Silent Splendor" section which made national news. This was Arkansas’ most delicate discovery. Make sure to bring your camera! Gift Shop, Snacks, Picnic area and camping available.

Stopped in here on the way home from Eureka Springs. It was a fun little tour and educational. It was a reasonable price for the length of the cave and time of the tour. Got some nice photos and see some cute salamanders. As other reviews have said, it is a bit difficult for those who may be out of... More

I've been on half a dozen cave tours, and this is definitely the most rustic in my experience. It is really neat, but don't go expecting Carlsbad or Mammoth. This is not a fancy, commercialized operation; it's relatively small and primitive. The formations are not as impressive as you will see in some caves. And as other reviewers have noted,... More

This is a very cool -- literally -- adventure. Whether it's too hot outside or too cold outside, this cave is perfect temp. Get down and discover the underbelly of the Ozarks.

Cosmic Cavern tour lasted about 1 1/4 hours and was enjoyable, The cave is not super big and some portions of the tour went through narrow and low, bend-at-the-waist passages. Not too strenuous a tour. Very interesting but not take-your-breath-away experience.

Took a friend on her first caving experience and she loved it. Our guide was a well versed caver. She was knowledgeable and entertaining. Great experience. Would visit again. Gift ship was reasonably priced and picked up several tokens to take home.

We took this tour this past week with 2 teens and a 3 year old. The youngest had no trouble at all keeping up. The water was at flood level so it was right up to the walkway and was beautiful! My husband and I have done the tour before, but this was the first for the kids. They loved... More

Barry was my tour guide and was very personable. This was my first trip to a cave and I really enjoyed the science he threw in with the tour. It is a very beautiful and well kept place and the girt shop was really fun too. It is worth the price and the time. The steps are very steep, but... More

Great time for my wife and I. Very friendly guides in Mr. Bill and the young up and coming Griffin. They made our time great. Our only complaint would be the amount of small children that were on our tour. We aren't child haters by any means but with lots of crying it made it difficult to hear the history... More
