Cosmic Cavern was discovered in 1845, but wasn'€™t developed until 1927. The cave features a 9 foot soda straw the longest known in the Ozarks, and two bottomless lakes. One of the lakes was discovered in 1993 in the "Silent Splendor" section which made national news. This was Arkansas’ most delicate discovery. Make sure to bring your camera! Gift Shop, Snacks, Picnic area and camping available.

A nice little side trip on our Branson vacation. There are a number of cavern tours in the Branson area and we choose this one as it gave us a chance to sightsee the area from Branson to Berryville, AR, about a 40 minute trip. One of the staff, Bill, gave us a 1.25 hour tour and was very pleasant... More

Out in the country with little advertising we didn't know what to expect. It was very nice and interesting with great guides. An impressive cave, but has steep stairs.

We had such a wonderful experience! The guides were all very knowledgeable, kind and enthusiastic. I've been to a handful of caverns and this one is by far my favorite! It's beautiful, well kept and offers a very comfortable amount of adventure for those who are first timers. The new owner is even making excellent strides towards expanding the cavern... More

This was a very neat cave, but definitely not for everyone. You need to be flexible and very steady on your feet. The stairs were very steep and often a bit slippery because everything is damp. Do NOT wear nice clothes as you will get a bit of mud on you from walking near cave walls. We enjoyed our tour... More

Aaron, our guide, was very informative and enthusiastic which made the experience nice. The kids (9 and 14) enjoyed his stories. Beautiful cavern with lakes...and I hope they find more rooms as they expect to do so.

The admission is about $15 per person, but it was worth seeing. I have never been to a cave, so I thought it was very interesting. My husband has seen bigger caves, so he wasn't as impressed as I was. The guide had a lot of great information and made the tour interesting. I would suggest it for anyone who... More
