Cosmic Cavern was discovered in 1845, but wasn'€™t developed until 1927. The cave features a 9 foot soda straw the longest known in the Ozarks, and two bottomless lakes. One of the lakes was discovered in 1993 in the "Silent Splendor" section which made national news. This was Arkansas’ most delicate discovery. Make sure to bring your camera! Gift Shop, Snacks, Picnic area and camping available.

We made the 45 drive over to Cosmic Cavern from Branson and we really enjoyed the scenic ride. The crew working there were all very nice and open to any questions that we had before, during and after the tour. It was cool to learn some history of the cavern and go down pretty deep. I would recommend it if... More

Note to self- where shoes, not sandals. Wonderous and fairly spectacular. Good for displaying the making of stalagtites and stalagmites, soda straws, underground lakes. Walking tour. Highly recommend.

The wife wanted to see the cavern and I'm glad we did, we learned such a cool history lesson about caves, soda straws, stalactites, stalagmites. There was a little bit of it that was still under water from recent storm. Still had a blast.

It was really fun! Didn't do the wild tour, but it was really beautiful and the tour Guide was super nice.

In town for a team roping event and had some time to kill. Took our 11 year old and we all enjoyed the caves. Our tour guide was great and we loved it!

Stopped here while on my way from Louisiana to Missouri to visit family. Such a beautiful cave, and a great tour! Our guide was knowledgable (and tolerated my dragging behind to take photos very well). :) Hoping to come back with my nephews & niece sometime.

I have been to a handful of caverns in my lifetime, but this was the first one that I've seen with an underground lake which was a pretty awesome experience! Though this was one of the most interesting caverns I've been in, it was also one of the more dangerous. This cavern has stairs going down into it straight away... More

Thanks for the review...we know visitors read them, and I always remind them "its a cave" whenever their surprised its wet and has stairs. Sorry, God didn't make them all handicapped accessible. Please stop by next time.. Randy More

This was a nice little side trip. It was a beautiful drive from Eureka. The owner greeted us on the porch when we pulled up and told us to hurry and catch the group that was heading into the cavern. Glad we did. Now this is not an adventure for everyone. There are lots of uneven steep stairs. There are... More

A nice little side trip on our Branson vacation. There are a number of cavern tours in the Branson area and we choose this one as it gave us a chance to sightsee the area from Branson to Berryville, AR, about a 40 minute trip. One of the staff, Bill, gave us a 1.25 hour tour and was very pleasant... More

First time my husband and I ever visited a cave so didn't know what to expect. Very interesting history and the guide was very knowledgeable.
