They have removed the cars from the tracks and haven't been in business for a few years now. There is talk of "someday" reopening the railroad however as another stated it really doesn't go "anywhere". It used to go toward Mexico next to the colorado river stopping near Gadson but that area is nothing but flat farmland and desert. Too... More

We've been on 6 scenic RR trips and this was the most forgettable. In a word, it doesn't go anywhere and it doesn't do anything.

What fun...especially if you are a rail road buff. Nice short trip to the cocopah reservation and back Well worth the trip

sorry but still closed , will open when the rebuild the tracks , but you can still see the old train , its downtown , below the jail house 4th and 1st

The train is not operating at this time and there is no information when it may start up again. The last time we were there the cars and locomotive were on display, though.

Had a really fun time. Very educational. The gentleman doing the narration was very knowledgable about the history of the Yuma area. Would say it is well worth doing.
