This corner site incorporates images from the Eagles' song with a large wall mural and bronze statue that invite selfie positioning. The corner is also a nice stop on a heritage greenway walk including old Santa Fe cabooses and work cars along the railroad tracks, ingenious Burma Shave sign adaptations, and Colter's La Posada. A souvenir shop across the street... More

On my way from St. Louis MO rolled through Winslow on my way to Scottsdale. This was a fun stop with the flat bed ford and all. Glad I stopped! It don't cost anything! Stop and take a pic. Good times!

It was a fun place to stop on our way to our other destinations. Everything from the song is there. It's free and nobody was there when we went thru. Places to buy merchandise on other sides of street.

It was easy to find the attraction since Winslow is a spit in the wind. I was passing through on a Sunday so everything was closed except for the very nice gift shop across the street I was able to grab another lone tourist and we took each other's pictures with the statue on the corner. Definitely need to stop... More

We thought we would pass through Winslow while seeing meteor crater and this little crossroads has a few nice photo ops if you are an Eagles or a Route 66 fan. It was clean and quiet with a few gift shops dotted either side of the road in a small town clearly clinging onto it's one claim to fame.

The statue, murals and nearby stores are all quaint and worth a brief stop at. We certainly managed to get some fun photos.

If you are an Eagles music fan and are familiar with the song Take it Easy, their lyrics, "standin on a corner in Winslow Arizona" This is a must stop. The buildings and surroundings have been set up for the best photo opportunities.

We stopped because my wife wanted a picture there, but it is a tourist trap, with a big souvenir store. Certainly not worth going out of your way to see. But if you are there, don't miss the Turquoise Room at the La Posada Hotel in Winslow, probably the best restaurant in Arizona and worth the price, for any meal.

I guess you had to visit the corner if you are driving through Winslow. Cute and touristy. Lots of 60s memorabilia everywhere.
