I grew up listening to the song, and I grew up traveling on Route 66, so when I took a nostalgic trip along part of Route 66, I HAD to stop by this location. One of the highlights of my stop was the British citizen that offered to take a picture of my wife and I together. He was taking... More

We had so much fun coming and taking pictures. We had recently gone to the Eagles reunion concert so this was a must see for us. We also enjoyed the gift shop on the opposite corner and that they actually had a flat bed truck for pictures.

The Eagles music is playing, what a great place to visit and have fun, plus the shop has cool stuff, the town is a bit run down but is trying to come back to life. I would love to go back and see its progress.

Stand on the opposite corner, crouch low to take a picture of the corner, decorated like the song. The intersection is painted with Highway 66 and if you go early, no one else is in your picture. A super quick and easy stop. Just a block or two from the La Posada Hotel. Funny how there's a gift shop on... More

If you are a fan of the Eagles, do not miss this stop as you cruise down I-40. Winslow is easy to pass by, but at least once, you need to stand on the corner, listen to the music, look at the windows overhead and take a good look at the old red truck. We need to visit Winslow once... More

We passed through in 2006. The park is well-maintained and the gift shop on the corner across the street is friendly and decently priced. Pose and take a picture. It's fun and if you are of a certain age, you will see and "get" every reference in the park.

While on our Route 66 trip, this was a "must see" for all of us. Who doesn't want to be able to say they stood on the corner (especially for Eagles fans)? We even bought magnets at the corner souvenir shop that say "I stood on the corner in Winslow, Arizona". The souvenir prices were very reasonable and the employees... More

Drove to Winslow....stood on the corner and took a photo.....and left. Winslow has just gotten depressing and it is so very sad. Yes, "the corner" is there and is surprisingly kept up (unlike the rest of the town) but there is NOTHING else to do in the town.

Definitely worth a moment of your time to view that Girl in a FlatBed Ford! A short block west of the La Posada -- a couple of curio stores, a Route 66 painted on the pavement, a mural of that Girl and a bronze of the singer....that's all, but if you're an Eagles fan it's enough!
