A small park in downtown Winslow. Created to respond to the demand from tourists who identified with the song. A simply, life size statue of a guitar playing singer and a mural of the 'girl in a flatbed Ford'. A place for visitors to take a picture.

Brilliant staging for your favorite photo op! They even have the Eagles music playing in the background and a great red pickup truck parked near the corner, as though it's approaching. The mural is brilliant and if you walk to the side of the brick wall, you see that the whole thing is a construction - like a stage set.... More

Judging by some of the negative reviews seems a lot of people expect a Taj Mahal and Glen Frey to run up with a cup of coffee and a doughnut for them I guess, I was very pleased, this is my second visit. The friendly ladies in the memorabilia shop could not be nicer, what sweeties. A good selection of... More

It was cool, but telling when a street corner with a fake backdrop is the top tourist attraction. I don't like the 50 word limit as there is nothing more to say.

We stopped to see the statue and salute to the Eagles' song, The statue was really good, the little town of Winslow was interesting. There were people from all over the world there taking pictures with the statue. Beautiful area and many things to see along the way. This is part of the old Route 66.

Other than the iconic song not much other than taking some "standing on the corner" pic's to talk about in Winslow.

We came to Winslow originally to stop over the night on our roadtrip, and would never have found this gem if it wasn't for the hotel owner! We drove down here and was surprised at the history of this street. It's definitely interesting and worth a visit if you're in town!

If you can find something to be known for and do it up right, then it can be good fun. Standing on The corner in Winslow Arizona is just that. You park and stand on the corner, but man has the town embraced this opportunity. There's plenty of parking along the streets even for our RV, it's a clean town... More

Great picture opportunity with the US66 crest painted on the intersection and the "Standing on the Corner" man in the back ground. Souvenir shops abound. A must for Eagle and Route 66 fans.
