While in Williams to take the Polar Express train, we had the entire day before the train ride to find something to do. As my kids and husband had never been in snow, I thought it was very important to find something snow related to do. The drive out there is absolutely gorgeous. That alone was worth the drive. This establishment is way overrated. There are a half dozen resorts around Flagstaff with a much broader array of services, better staff and far lower prices. Save your money and make the short drive. more

We went to the Grand Canyon for a week with 3 small kids and wanted them to run off a little steam and have some fun in the snow on a budget. We found Elk Ridge Ski Lodge and all 5 of us went tubing for the day for under $30. We had a blast! We had easy directions, great... more
