If you are interested in old car stuff and the history about Route 66, you need to see this place. The owners are very nice and friendly people and you can get good information about the museum and the area. Admission is free. I left a tip. An Route 66 icon!

... visit the gas-station. Not that much to see, but when wife goes bananas in nearby stores, you can spend a little time there.

Pete's was not open when we were exploring Williams, but we still had to walk around and check out the building, gas pumps, and old relics sitting around. Very fun little stop even if you can only explore the outside.

Great little place for a little mooch around at relics from a bygone era. There's a little shop next door which has some cool stuff in there - metal pictures for a man cave or garage.

I would love to do something similar, but an Australian version. Great place! Reminded me of the Pixar movie cars, character plus

A few years ago, we stopped in Williams for a break. And what a smart stop! You can roll the clock back and be there in real life! Just off the Interstate 40 are the memories that Nat King Cole made big in the late '50's about "Route 66" the highway for Chicago to LA in hardly 200 miles. And... More

Pete is always full of stories and information about Route 66. His collection is great and is always looking to add and grow it. They did a wonderfil job restoring the building and it is a great photo ops as well.

Old gas station on Route 66; lots of memorabilia and nods to the car-holidays of the past. Very much worth a stop.

A step back to yesteryear. A fun place to see while visiting Williams. Many similar sights on Route 66. If you like recent history visit Petes Rt 66 Gas Station.
