We scheduled a trip to Arizona for November 2011, over Thanksgiving weekend. My husband and I thought if we are going to Arizona ... we are going to the Grand Canyon. We did a little research online and came across Canyon Dave's Tours and booked it for the day after Thanksgiving. Dora picked us up at our hotel and we... More

We visited the Grand Canyon this past October and signed up for one of Canyon Dave's tours as a recommendation of our hotel concierge. While the tour guide seemed very nice, pleasant and helpful the van which we were picked up in was less than adequate. It was a 15 passenger van, packed with 15 adults. For $150 per person,... More

This was the best tour ever! It was an all day tour in a comfortable van with only one other couple so was very personalized. Thank you Richard for a wonderful job! You kept our interest up all day and the places you took us to in the Grand Canyon and Painted Desert were fabulous! Loved the food we had... More

Canyon dave's exceeded my expectations. Tour picked us up on the dot at our flagstaff hotel. We were taken to great spots in the canyon and enjoyed lunch on the indian reservation. Guide was extremely knowledgable about flora and flauna as well as geology of the area. Guide always was offering cool beverage or snack and would snap your picture... More

Found this van-ride tour of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon icw our stay atthe Best Western Plus of Williams. For $149/per person we had a full day van tour of the south rim overviews, making 5 or 6 stops. Park entry ($25/vehicle) and lunch were included. Our guide, Tim, was a young ASU grad who had worked previously... More

I had already visited the Grand Canyon on a number of occasions over the previous 3 years. So, as a change, when I had a chance to take one of Canyon Dave’s Tours I thought ‘why not’, I may see something new. That single decision was probably one of the best I’ve made this summer. I found the tour provided... More

Get up early and see the Walnut Canyon, Meteor Crater, The North Rim of the Grand Canyon and alot more. And you can get back before lunch. YOU WILL SEE MORE THAN ALL DAY AT THE GRAND CANYON STATE PARK. More

The half day tour is $99 dollars and visits three stops, easily accessible on your own. At the second stop you spend 1/2 hour or more listening to a novice and boring discussion about the geology of the canyon. The geology is fascinating but not when told by Canyon Dave tours. You can learn more on your own and save... More

Three girlfriends and I spent a day with Dora of Canyon Dave Tours on March 29th, 2010. It was our first time seeing the Grand Canyon, and we were very glad we booked an educational tour. We drove from Sedona and caught the van in Flagstaff. Dora was very gracious, welcoming and patient. She is a former park ranger, with... More
