Did not take a horseback tour. It is a beautiful afternoon hike. Waterfalls provide great cool-off from the heat. Be aware as all rocks are slippery. If you fall from the rocks nobody would be available for rescue (no road access). On the way to the waterfall you can see monkeys and parrots. Cool!!! Entrance: 5 USD which I consider... More

My boyfriend and I took the horseback riding tour to the waterfalls. We had an amazing time. The horseback ride was great, but I wouldn't call it a "tour" as the guides don't really tell you anything about anything except how to get on the horse. They're mainly there as chaperons, but they do set up the jump for you--that... More

Amazing horse back ride to beautiful waterfalls (one you can cliff dive from) and a delicious lunch where you will see monkeys, birds and other wildlife among the property. Would go again!

Terrific adventure for the entire family. The staff took great care of us the entire day. My husband, who is very nervous on a horse and had ridden once before, said it was the best day of our entire trip. My 5 yr old had his own horse that was led by our own guide, Fabian. I'm an experienced rider... More

The guides were great with our kids 6 &8. The horses were very calm and although we had an adult (me) and 2 kids that had never ridden before, the horses were in control and the guides were always nearby. The groups were quite large - perhaps 20 and 25 and we had been hoping for a more personalized trip... More

If you like horseback riding, this is the way to do it. It's not just a trail ride. Your horse has room to trot and even cantor at times, if he wants to. This multi-generational family owned business makes your experience special with a stop at their family's home for real Costa Rican meals to break up your ride to... More

I joined this tour at the spur of a moment. When I got to their office, the horseback riding tour already left, so I had to rush to join them. The guide was waiting for me with another horse. I've never done horseback riding before. 30 seconds of lecture and I was on the horse, riding. Yes I got nervous... More

. . . unless you really don't like to walk. Why pay all that money when you can pay a few bucks and explore the way to the falls on your own! The walk is easy and beautiful. I'd say about 2 miles in length (but I could be misremembering). If you do the walk on your own there is... More

I recently enjoyed a half day adventure to Nauyaca Waterfalls in Dominical, Costa Rica. Staying at a home in Dominical, the road to Nauyaca Falls is located just at the entrance to town when traveling south down Highway 34 from Manuel Antonio to Dominical. If you are in the Manuel Antonio area, its about a 30 minute ride. From Dominical,... More
