7 of us went on a day trip with these guys to Isla de Canos. We left from Uvita at about 8am returning at around 2:30pm. Some of us dived the reef others just snorkelled. First of all its a great boat with a big engine (250hp) so you cover the ground really quickly. The dive was very well led,... More

I think the early negative reviews were in a different phase of the school's life and bore absolutely no relation to our experience. The only reason it isn't five stars is we rung up a couple of times, but could only speak to the surf instructors who couldn't give us the info we needed. Not a deal breaker, we still... More

The crew at Costa Rica Dive and Surf are the absolute BEST! I made a mistake in the scheduling of my sons' certification work. Missed the pool time by a day. Miguel was amazingly accommodating and after a few minutes we had the schedule issue resolved and even managed to squeeze in a surf lesson for 5 people. The night... More

The covered boat was great to have as even a half day snorkel can be a lot of sun. For $60 a person this is a great value - we did 2 snorkels and a good deal of touring. The guides and captain were fun and very professional and competent. They knew where to go to see fish based on... More

Professional and relaxing. Good equipment and decent lunch. Connecting customers via social media (to carpool or other travel tips) for early dives is perhaps a tip (for non-Dominical customers). A great experience thoug!!

I dive with these guys every time I go down and have never been disappointed. The first time was with my brother getting him certified and then a great dive at Cano the following day. The short ride to Uvita is much better than the other operations who take you via the river. It's much faster getting there and ensures... More

Just experienced a trip to Isla del Cano Island with Costa Rica Dive & Surf out of Dominical, Costa Rica, this past June 3, 2014. Although the day excursion to Isla del Cano was worth the $160 for a two tank dive, it could have been better logistically and from a stand point of service. First of all, I booked... More

I did the dive to Cano Island for my first post open water certification dive. Got to 55 feet. It was great. The dive masters, Miguel and Roberto and were knowledgeable and guided us to to great spots where we saw lots of fish and sharks. It was the green season and visibility was short. But there was still to... More

We dove the Cano Islands last week during our vacation in Manuel Antonio. Roberto was our dive master. He is an excellent guide! All of the guides were superb. There were four adults and 4 children in our party. The children (ages 11, 11, and 12) are junior open water certified and were able to dive with us as well.... More

My wife and I came to Costa Rica with family as a getaway trip. My wife was interested in the discover course as she is not a certified diver as of yet but I am so we wanted to go on a dive that we could do together despite her lack of certification. So when we arrived we began talking... More
