Went to Tombstone for a wedding and we were signed up as a group for this tour. I'm no history buff and don't voluntarily go on these kind of tours but this one was worth it!! His rendition of the story takes you back in time... a MUST do activity on your next Tombstone trip!

Dr. Jay's tour was without doubt the best value dollar for dollar as well as the most informative and entertaining activity we experienced in Tombstone. That is saying a lot for there is much to recommend touring Tombstone. You can feel his passion for a subject he obviously has studied in great depth. Combine that with his charisma and gift... More

Unlike many other tours or attractions in Tombstone, which perpetrate the fallacies of the West, Dr. Jay's tour gives you the facts. He is engaging and knowledgeable on Tombstone and it's history. Through his interesting tidbits and factoids, I learned a lot that is otherwise left out of most literature regarding Tombstone and the Gunfight at the OK Corral.

Dr. Jay does a great job of informing you of the history and reality of Tombstone. If truly interested in the learning about the "real facts" then you need to let him guide you through town. Otherwise I would say Tombstone is just a place for tourist to spend their money which is not a bad thing and why they... More

A walking tour with The Doctor is like strolling around Tombstone with a town resident of the Earp period who witnessed it all and knew everyone. So much information and knowledge from a man who clearly loves what he does. If you do nothing else in Tombstone, make sure to take a walk with the Doc.

We learned more from Dr. Jay in 2 hours than we would have learned if we had gone to every museum in Tombstone and it was a lot more fun! I would highly recommend this interactive walking tour. Dr. Jay is funny and patient and no question goes unanswered plus you will get an in depth understanding of the history... More

I was in Tombstone to researching for a paper on Wild West history. Dr. Jay was a fantastic resource. He is an excellent historian with a deep well of knowledge. He was thoroughly knowledgeable about the historical people of Tombstone, history of the town, details of everyday life and had information about stories one is less likely to hear such... More

I had visited Tombstone before and hit all the museums and historical high points. So on this recent trip, I wanted to take a tour with a guide that wasn't just an actor who had memorized lines about what happened, when, where and who participated. What I found was Tombstone Walking Tours with Dr. Jay. He is a scholar and... More
