My daughter and I stopped here on our way cross country and she at first wan't interested. When we started seeing all the different sites she became more interested. We saved Boot Hill for the last and she really liked it. Sometime I will have to take her to Bodie in the Sierra's in CA and Virginia City, NV for... More

It has been a lifelong dream to visit Tombstone. I grew up watching and loving western movies. Tombstone is a real town left over from the old west. Yes it is a tourist spot but the kids were able to experience a little of how people lived in the 1800"s. It was great fun to talk to the cowboys and... More

A little on the cheesy side for adults, but it would be great for kids. We liked the history museum; however they are in desperate need of some air conditioning. Even when you’re not reviewing it with the tour group it was sweltering. The restaurants did not have air conditioning either and it's not open later in the day so... More

Reenactment is great; the guys try 2 show case and do the best this town has to offer, booth hill is a must see, not every one may like grave yards but going down history lane really put you in touch with the do or die attitude of this time. I go there every year for the hell dorado days.... More

Seriously, the best part of our visit to Arizona.. I have been twice to Tombstone and would go again in a minute. You will see Doc Holliday, Wyatt and his family walking around town, as well as the Clanton gang. However, there was nothing phony about the cast and they seemed to be naturally part of the boardwalks and the... More

Tombstone is a must for any visitor to Arizona and it is great fun for all ages. So much to do and see with a variety of shows and attractions and a great place for photos. A lot of the residents live the life of the Old West and dress in vintage clothing which makes for numerous photo opportunities. A... More

i love history..especially the old west...so my hubby and myself really enjoyed this little town. 21 year old daughter...not so much! sadly we had to explain who the characters were before the gun fight, but she did laugh along with everyone else! the town is very realistic, and some places have been restored to their full glory. definitely worth a... A great step back in time to the Old West. See plenty of people meandering around that look just like you would imagine they would. Better to visit in the winter months though....not in the summer when the temperatures are so boiling hot. That's when tourism there is very slow and it didn't seem like much was open. I've been... Hi cfchic! We are glad you enjoyed yourself on your recent visit with us, even if your grandson did not seem to get as much out of it. The summer months can indeed by very hot out here! Makes you wonder if the heat did not add to the cantankerousness back then! Thank you for your kind words and we... More

The streets of Old Town Tombstone are pretty much as they were back in the late 1800's. The buildings have been restored, except of the important ones, like the Bird Cage, Big Nose Kates, etc., which have been kept authentic with the bullet holes and more. The place where Morgan Earp was playing pool when he was shot is now... More

If you love history or westerns, this is the place for you. Ride the trolley to learn about the town and see spots that you might miss on your own. Birdcage Theater was interesting. Not big, but cool to see items from that time. There is a self guided tour, guided tour and a ghost tour. Self guided tour is... More
