After eating at many establishments in Tombstone, we have found the food at the Crystal Palace to be excellent. The new menu, allows us a choice of just an appetizer or as fancy a dish as the grilled salmon for dinner. The prices are very reasonable and the place is family friendly. Thanks again R.J. and keep serving the great... more

I am going to rate this very harshly and I will get to that in a second. Tombstone is a tourist trap no matter how you look at it. There is so much history, but little of it can truly be seen under all the gift shops and people in hawaiian shirts mingling with cowboys. That does not make it... more

My fiancee' and I recently visited Tombstone. We went to the Cyrstal Palace. We loved it. We had some of the best food right there in that bar. The bar tender was the best. I keep reading these reviews that are so negative. Guess these people are out of touch with the "Real" old west. We went there to get... more

We stopped in Tombstone for the day and had lunch at the Crystal Palace. The place was packed and we had to wait for a table. We finally got a talbe but no waitress. We asked to sit at the bar and eat but we had a child and they wouldn't let us. BUT the bartender offered to take our... more

While I am a huge fan of the atmosphere in Big Nose Kate's (and am a frequent customer there too), when I want quality food in a great establishment, I make a bee-line right for the Crystal Palace. First of all, the history of the Crystal Palace is fascinating, much like the rest of Tombstone itself. Generally, I prefer to... more

The Crystal Palace remains what it once was, which is unusual for Tombstone where every building wants to be a saloon today so tourists can make believe they're in a Western. The food here is fairly good if not particularly authentic to the Wild West of yesterday. They serve a lot of modern fast food type items including hamburgers and... more

We have diiner here, decent food at a fair price, but the main reason to visit is to see the 1880's bar. more

Stopped in Tombstone for a day in Jan 08. The Crystal Palace is a must see. Very good food, very good drink, and the nicest people taking care of your dining and drinking needs. The bar was magnificent. The art work accompanying the bar was splendid and I really cannot express how pleasant the people were. As soon as I... more

We visited several years ago. Planned on one night passing through Tombstone. Visited Boot Hill and other tourist type places. We loved the old west shows, the actors were professional and friendly. Just what would have been typical old west. We ended up staying for 3 nights. The Crystal Palace was unique. Bartenders dressed like the old west with vests,... more

We just returned home from a three day trip to Tombstone. Day one was spent visiting the usual tourist traps, ending with a beer at the Crystal Palace. What an incredible place!!! Upon entering we met the lady miner that does "lap dances" during the feature shows. What a hoot... Then we bellied up to the bar and were met... more
