Admission was $5 for an adult. It was well worth the price. There are tons of artifacts, and displays about the early days of Tombstone. There's the hangman's nooses in the courtyard. There's a courtroom and tons of other things. You can easily spend over an hour in here.

The Courthouse in Tombstone has a $5 admission fee, but it is worth it if you are interested in history. You wander through on your own, no guide. There are many exhibits of life in the old West. A video in the courtroom that depicts a murder trial is worth seeing, takes about 15 minutes. The entire courthouse can be... More

The owner of one of the shops suggested we visit the Court House if interested in the background of Tombstone and the local area. A very complete and highly interesting display of artifacts and memorabilia explaining the founding and growth of Tombstone. A must see if any interest in how Tombstone came to be.

The staff at the court house is amazing and friendly. We walked through all 3 floors (downstais if really only a few steps but leads out to the old Gallows). Every inch of the court house included historic information and displays of life back in old Tombstone. This is definitely a tour that visitors should not pass up.

If you like stepping into history, then the courthouse is your place. The corner stone was laid and it was opened in 1882. As an author of several Tombstone history books, I highly recommend this place! Sherry Monahan
