There was nothing about the courthouse I didn't like! I loved the old architecture and the feel about the building itself!

The courthouse was by far and way the best part of our visit to Tombstone. This old building filled with historical artifacts has a character all its own. Another reviewer mentioned the wonderful creaky floors and the beautiful staircase...all so true. The courthouse museum truly felt what I wanted the rest of Tombstone to be: authentic. The rest of Tombstone... More

I have been to Tombsone many times and I always enjoy visiting the courthouse. It really has that old smell of wood, books, very nostalgic feel I like. You can sit in the courtroom and really get a feel for what it was like back in the days. There is a lot of history here and for the minimal amount... More

This is a must see while in Tombstone. It is reasonably priced and the tickets are good for the whole day. There is good parking outside. You can watch a video of a trial of the "other shoot out at the ok corral" which was good. Also, it serves as a great intro to the town, before you set out... More

Took this 30 mile side trip off IH 10 to visit Tombstone, ostensibly to see the gunfight area. Found out to our dismay that commercialization made the town like an Old Tucson from years gone by. You have to pay for everything, even to see Boot Hill down the road. Found out about the courthouse and made the most worthwhile... More

This was our first stop on our tour of tombstone and I'm so glad it was. The building is very well preserved and maintained. We did she self guided tour on a Thursday afternoon. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a stop you need to make

This is a really good adventure for the whole family to experience a true history of the old west and the law of the west. The building serves as a museum of sorts with all kinds of stuff from the Tombstone area showing the history and life of the people that lived here through the years. Beautiful building and architecture... More

As a former County Attorney I loved seeing the old attorney's office and court room which looked a lot like the 100 year old Courthouse I practiced in. I read the court notes which hadn't changed that much in 100 years either. Lots of museum stuff to see here you could easily spend an hour and certainly worth the $5.00.

This is the original building from the 1880's and is very well organized so that you start on the right side and follow it around not missing a thing. The exhibits give a very good view of the courthouse and the history of Tombstone. Figure at least 1 hour to go through the exhibits.
