Excellent exhibits which give a comprehensive, but brief, history of the settling of the southwest by Europeans. A must see in Tombstone!

I really enjoyed this museum! Much of Tombstone's history has been well preserved and it is reflected here. Interesting biographies, photos and artificats. Regretted that I did not have more time to explore here. (We had about 30 mins.) Note that the building has no air conditioning.

Always like seeing buildings in still their original state. There was a lot of history in that building and artifacs. The Safe and miners cage outside was interesting too.

If you are planning to visit Tombstone AZ, be prepared to be unimpressed with the town itself. Mostly geared to tourists, you are invited to pay to watch the daily staging of the shot out at the OK corral, the script for which is slanted toward the outlaws. Or you can pay to see an enormous rosebush. Or you can... More

A good place to learn about the area with plenty of information about Tombstone and it people. You will need about 1-2 hours to visit.

The court house has a nice history of Tombstone with pictures, artifacts, relics. The fee to get in is $6 per person (if i remember correctly), kids are free. Read about the history of the mining town, the court, the chambers, the gallows, the crimes, the mining history, the post office, the cowboys, the judges and more. Overall i think... More

Lots of AZ history on display. Most of the legal action here involved litigation between mining concerns. Good views of the mines to the south. One of the most photographed gallows in the state is in the back yard. Recommend the gift shop for some good books covering the fascinating history of these parts.

Fantastic self guided tour of the history of Tombstone. Much is set in the period and a great deal of history can be learned here. All in all it was a great visit and the price of admission was well worth it.
