This is a beautiful park by day and a great place for a romantic walk after dinner. I meant to give it 5 stars but system would not let me. Ramadas can be reserved

Trails, fishing, boat rides, batting cages.....all in one place! We usually walk along the canal and visit the stables. The mounted Tempe police have their stables and often you can watch them caring for the horses. They have revamped the park, updating bathrooms, playgrounds and other facilities. All that is needed now is a splash pad....but the wave pool is... More

Great , quiet, well maintained park perfect for bike ride, running, fishing or just enjoying being outside. The pool is great too. Great location in Tempe along the canal.

We recently visited the Kiwanis Wave Pool for a birthday party, and the kids had lots of fun in the wave pool. However, there were a few adults including myself who did not swim that day. It was the most awful experience. It was so hot and stuffy in the sitting area. It's an indoor pool, but some outdoor circulation... More

This park has a lake that is stocked with fish, a recreation trail through the park that interconnects to the canal path, 3 playgrounds (the one on the North end is covered for shade), multiple ramadas that can reserved (with charcoal grills) sand volleyball courts, baseball fields, tennis courts, batting cages and even an indoor wave pool. The only thing... More

The park is very nice and clean, but the highlight is definitely the wave pool. Admission is relatively cheap for this nice indoor facility. The food, however, is very expensive and time consuming to obtain. Even with no lines, you can count on being quoted at least 10-minutes for your food. The staff and life-guards are all very friendly and... More

We were there for the classic car show, huge grassy acreage and lakes for kiddy play. Probably would avoid in summer unless you have shade or reserved pavilion. Well maintained with lots of parking. Have been there many times, and it's always a fun place.
