Located on Arizona State University campus, this 18-hole championship golf course offers plenty of mounds and water, plus a good mixture of hole lengths and doglegs for a challenging game.

This is a very interesting course with lots of unusual lies due to the many man-made hills that line the fairways. On the plus side, the layout presents unusual challenges and it is unlike anything else I've played in the valley. On the downside, the proximity to PHX can be distracting, and the excessive use of Bermuda grass creates unnecessarily... More

We liked the golf course itself but there is nothing special about the environs. Planes take off over you head nearly every minute. No great views unless you like hydro towers and an oil refinery / storage unit. There are by far better and more picturesque places to play around Pheonix. Cheaper too.

I have a love/hate relationship with this course...depending on my play. While that is true for most courses I play, this one is only hate because it is a tricky course. Be sure to look over a mound for hidden sand traps. Seriously, it is a fun course and different from the other numerous courses in the area. It is... More

Beautiful course but very challenging. Played their on the recommendation from a local in Scottsdale. The fairways were vert narrow and if you missed them you payed the price the first cut off rough was deep! The greens were awesome very true and fun to putt on

First class golf course that is part of Arizona State U and not far from Sun Devil Stadium. course was in excellent shape and very challenging with undulating greens and rolling fairways. The tees, fairways and greens were all in great shape.

nothing else was even adequate. We've play a ton of courses in the Scottsdale area and this was, by far, the worst. Bad range balls, no short game area in sight, can't even chip on the putting green, tee time was delayed because no carts were available, "Bob," our starter was unfriendly, the course is poorly designed with tons of... Every trip to Phoenix is not complete until I play here. The hospitality is always first class. The course is always in top condition and the greens always putt true. My only gripe about this course is the driving range but I understand their lack of land to put in a first rate range. A true Pete Dye course. It... More

But we still enjoyed the round. As long as you can keep off the many mounds that add to the challage of this track you'll be fine. The mounding can be tough.pass was slower than we like even with an 8:30 t time???? Pro shop has a big selection of golf and ASU wear. Pass on the club house for... More

Challenging on more than one level. The course itself is challenging enough with it's undulations and challenging holes. In addition to that, the round took 5+ hours. I'm not certain why, but the ranger said there wasn't anything they could do about it. I'm assuming that means it's 'normal'. I was trying to play this course as part of a... More

Booked a large group and when we got there, they were running half an hour behind schedule and last 2/5 groups could not play the 18th. Tee boxes were not in the greatest of shape. Also, the pace of play due to a couple of early poor pin placements took close to 2:45 for the front nine. Back 9 was... More
