Still the BEST Venue in Tempe. Great seats from every angle. Grady Gammage had the vision to design a masterpiece for generations of Theater aficionados to enjoy the Arts! Could use a few more restrooms for intermission, otherwise a Fabulous Night in store for the upcoming OFF Broadway season.

Went to see Jersey Boys. The play was good not taking away from the actors, but due to large theater (auditorium) is very worn, the acoustics at least in the front row 20 are horrendous, the pre-show nibbles are only fair and over price with nowhere to sit and eat except on the internal stairs. The A.C was high especially... More

Went to see the Jersey Boys last night; Plenty of parking. Lots of attentive staffers there to help with whatever you need. Drinks, snacks, desert treats available too. Jersey Boy CD's and other items available for purchase. We were in the 8th row iin seats 47 and 49. Close enough, could see perfectly, hear without being too loud. Gammage never... More

I was excited to go see Jersey Boys in this FRank Lloyd Wright theater. No huge expectations, but whatever they were they were not met. First off, after buying tickets on Ticketmaster, the message then said "partially obstructed view". Turned out that was the least of our problems. The theater is worn, it was too warm, the acoustics at least... More

No matter the time of year, this theater is freezing. The A.C is always to high especially in the lobby. Complaining to management is useless as they do not get it. Consequently in order to see Broadway tours I have to drive 6 hours to L.A. where they have some sense of the environment. 68 to 72 degrees is far... More

I always enjoy going to Gammage for any sort of theater. The rows are wide enough that people can pass through without stepping on your toes. The accoustics are good and pretty much any seat in the orchestra is good. The one complaint I have is about the rest rooms. They are very small, cramped and dark. Not sure if... More

1st time visiting ASU Gammage to see Gershwin's Porgy & Bess. The sound system was not the best and we sat in the orchestra area. The rows provide slightly more leg room but is not ideal as each row is just continuous with no break until you reach the end. Patched areas on walls/ceiling are noticeable and the carpet has... I have been a season ticket holder for many years. I have watched as the carpet got worn and outdated and the sound system in the upper balconies became worse. If you can afford the price pick the Orchestra section otherwise skip it. There is no elevator only ramps and as I have aged it becomes harder to get to... More

I've been going to the Gammage Auditorium, which houses traveling theater productions and ceremonies since I attended there almost 20 years ago. It may seem a little dated but there is art noveau styling all over inside mixed in with a south western style. I had my graduation ceremony in this building and watched numerous shows there (as well as... More

I have seen many plays here and the facility is the best in the Valley, and Gammage gets a great program of shows every year. It is amazing how high the seating can be, it doesn't look that high from outside. So if you have a little fear of heights, get lower seats. But no matter what seats you get,... More
