If you want to walk, bike, enjoy time with your dog, have some water fun, have a picnic, this is a good option. It is a good addition to the Tempe area. When they put it in I had my doubts and when the dam burst a few years ago those doubts continued. But now that they upgraded the bookend... More

This is a nice park and walking/biking area in Tempe. It is easy walking distance from the Mill Ave restaurant/bar scene and a good getaway from there and will give you some exercise and fresh air. There are paddle boats avail for rent. I saw that they have concerts and other events in the park during the year. Long walking/biking... More

Walked here from my hotel early in the morning and took some nice sunrise pictures. The bridge(s) also provide some good photos! Very quiet early in the morning. Lots of families later in the day using the splash park, etc. Didn't try it out but they have kayaks and paddleboards that you can rent as well.

The park was expansive and filled with beautiful landscape and a little splash park for the kids (the water had not been turned on yet though). We spent our time kayaking on Town Lake for two hours and had a blast.

I was in town for a conference and walked here from my hotel on the last day. It was a nice peaceful walk, and it was interesting to walk over the bridge where the dam stops below.

Stand Up Paddle boards were AWESOME! The Tempe Town lake was attractive and super clean. They had paddle boars, kayaks and more. A very enjoyable time. We will go back for sure!

Have been here multiple times and mostly during evenings n nights. Nice & safe during nights too when there are not many people around. Have done the paddle boats too and it was tiring if you are not used to it. The lights on the bridge and around the lakes makes it beautiful as hey change the colors and with... More

We were bike riding around Tempe Town Lake when we got to talking to Matt, the manager of Tempe Boat Rentals. We have never paddle boarded, a little apprehensive. Matt said just try it , it's not that hard. He was Very enthusiastic to say the least. So we did it for a bit and it was great! Super guys,... More

This is the best part of Tempe in my view. At nights, the lights are multi-colored on the bridge and in the right time of year sunsets are nice over the lake. Good walking paths, but tight parking is usually an issue. Just park by the Arts center if its crowded and lots of events jam the park in the... More
