We love Grayton Beach State Park. We've always done day trips in the past. This time we saw there was ONE night available for camping so we went for it! We took our tent and stayed one night in lot #39. It was actually a good spot for a tent, we had quiet neighbors and it's not too far from... More

Prices were reasonable, sites were great, the access to the beach, and the bathrooms (at the campsites and at the beach) were all excellent!

This is a nice northern gulf coast beach if you want to get away from the condos, hotels and resorts. The birds will join you.

We went to Grayton State Park and stayed in the cabins there. I was highly impressed by it! The cabin is simple and can sleep up to 6 (2 twins, 1 queen, and a pull out bed). All you had to bring, or buy, was food for the kitchen. The beach was a few minutes walk and it was fabulous!... More

Our second trip to this park and we love the laid back attitude of Grayton Beach! The mile long private beach is great!

We visited the area during a peak week and decided to give this beach a try based on reviews So glad we did! It was a nice respite from the nearby overcrowded beach accesses. Totally worth $5. We were having to drive to a beach access from our rental anyway. This beach was clean, well maintained, had great facilities and... More

We rode our bikes into the park one day to explore. We liked what we saw so we decided to come back to beach the following day. We enjoyed the picnic tables, the ample parking, and the bathrooms. Oh, and I did mention that it wasn't crowded, right?

We stayed with friends in one of the cabins which are just inland from the dune. it's a short walk or drive from the cabin to the bridge over the dune, then short walk over the bridge to the beach. Awesome beach and very private as the beach area is only used by cabin renters and there are only 15... More

This was my first stat park beach that we have ever been to in FL. The restrooms were really clean. There are showers as well as picnic areas. It is the cleanest beach that I have seen. I would come back to this beach in a heartbeat. The coast was $5 for up to eight people. I thought the price... More

My group was one of several over this past 4th of July weekend that was told to leave a spot we had settled on Grayton Beach by the Walton County sheriff. In Florida, with very, very, few exceptions beach front property is in the public domain from a point measured as the mean high water mark on the beach to... More
