Pleasant day at state park. Enough arming for off season visitors. Bathrooms and outdoor shower near by. Beach flat and somewhat wide. Windy day after a storm. Ocean was rough and not the normal green color. Enjoyed it anyway

This is one of our favorite places to camp...So quiet and serene. The beach is absolutely gorgeous! We come here every year. This year the biting flies and mosquitoes were really bad but just remember your bug spray!

Beautiful. We love this area. We brought the kids here several times from little tikes to teens and young adults. Its a safe, beautiful and fun place to bring the family. We ride bikes to the beach and don't worry about it being too crowded or dangerous. We saw a black indigo snake on our walkway and our neighbor said... More

You will love the quaint little streets and the Red Bar as well as a couple of other restaurants are down here, but good luck finding parking. Better to go to the Topsail State Preserve if you are looking for primo beach setting and no trouble parking.

Great place to go where the beaches are not crowed and relaxing... I really like this the best of any beaches near Santa Rosa Beach...

We put our kayaks in and had great bird/wildlife watching! We saw herons, osprey, egrets, turtles, etc. Awesome, quiet, not crowded! We were lucky to have great weather too!

We visited Grayton Beach State Park while we were staying in nearby Watercolors. It is just a very short drive from Watercolors and Seaside but the difference is big. The beach at Watercolors is nice, but crowded and lined with hundreds of cabana chairs. In contrast to this, Grayton was pristine and sparsely populated. Grayton has a $5 fee per... More

Stayed here for 11 days combining work with play. The campgrounds are nice. I stayed in the older part of the campground which is more wooded and shady than the new part. The new part has concrete slabs and sewer hook-up though, so depends on which you would prefer. Nice little bicycle ride to the beach. Back out on the... More

Love the white sandy beach and peaceful surroundings. It's was pretty quiet at this beach during a weekday.
