By far the best beach in the area, the water is crystal clear and beautiful. I love this area of Fl, and would return every year if not for the horrible traffic on 30a and 98. That area was never meant to handle the amount of traffic it is receiving now.

We took a morning to see this beautiful state park. It cost $5 for our car load. The beaches and dunes are gorgeous. We walked the one mile nature trail loop that is just off the beach parking lot. It has a fantastic surprise at the top that was a breath taking must see!

I love the peace and quiet feel of this State Park. The nature is unbelievable and the sand is snow white. This is the best kept secret in the area. If you love the feel of nature, trees, sand and sea, come here to Grayton Beach State Park. My Favorite!

We come down here about once every year or so for the past five years and each time we have been pleased. The beach is clean and beautiful and the shore itself is narrow enough that you aren't stacked rows deep away from the water. This time in addition to tent camping, we tried a cabin for a night. Great... More

We visited June 29-July 1, 2015 and loved it. We returned for one night on July 5th. We liked the older loop best because the sites were private with lots of vegetation. We camped in a small motorhome. It's a long walk to the beach. We rode bikes or drove. Clean bathrooms. Only about a 1 mile (bike bath) to... More

We spent three days at this great panhandle state park. The weather was a bit chilly and windy so we did not get to enjoy the beach as much as we would have liked. The location is accessible to town on bike or walking: less than a mile from our site to the nearest coffee shops and oyster bar. The... More

Great place. We stayed at the cabins with their own private beach access. This park is far enough away from civilization to be quiet, but close enough to stores, restaurants and bars in Grayton Beach, Seaside, and Destin.

We love this Beach. Our daughter and a friend spent spring break with us and we had a spectacular day at Grayton. We took a hike, rented canoes to explore, had a picnic at one of the pavilions and swam at the beach. Restrooms and shower are convenient with parking near by. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We... More

Right between Destin and Panama City, Grayton is that perfect white sands and clear water beach without all the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough that a trip to the city for shopping and dining isnt an all day event. Everyone is so nice and it's GRAYT to get away from work and people and just relax.

Visited this park while on vacation in Destin. We were there at 9am on a Thursday and it wasn't crowded at all. The sand is white and soft, the water clear and warm. I can't say enough about the quality of the water around here. It's my favorite, and being from Florida I've been to lots of beaches.
