The tubes and kayaks that you can rent are super fun to go down the river in. There are small 'rapids' that make the run more enjoyable and make you work a little, but for the most part it is a relaxing run down the river. the river is a little dirty, but that did not bother my wife or... More

We arrived in downtown Clarksdale right across the street from the park. Nice little place with a cute deli right next door. Not sure how it all worked but we came prepared with a lunch that we didn't eat until we got back. You check in at the store and you are ready to go. My wife and daughters wore... More

I was a bit doubtful - kayaking in an Arizona river in July? How much water could there be? I was delightfully surprised! The guided kayak trip was as advertised - easy, fun and very wet. It was also very hot, but that was to be expected. Our guides, Preston and Mark, were excellent and knew just when to provide... More

My husband and I had a great time kayaking on the Verde River. Our guide was fun and patient with newbies. We would do it again! Thank you for a great day!

We have done two tours with Sedona Adventure Tours, the Water to Wine short kayak float trip to Alcatel Winery and the 3 hour Verde River float trip. Both of these involved their famous inflatable kayaks that pretty much anyone can operate. The Verde River is a slow moving, mostly shallow river that flows gently down from the high company.... We did the three hour kayak tour and it was a blast!! Highly recommended. Our guides , Jordan and Chris , were great. They arm your kayaks with water cannons, which was perfect for water fighting and cooling off!!

We took our two boys, ages 12 & 13, along with friends on the kayak trip down the Verde River - GREAT TRIP! We had Jordan, our guide, meet us at the office and get us loaded up on the bus to the river. There we met Keith, our 2nd guide for our group of 14, got a quick instructional... More

We did the ducky inflatable kayak trip on the Verde river, which is about 3 hours long (2 hours on the river). You go the office in Clarkdale and the bus takes you to the river, you get a quick lesson on how to use the oar and then you are off in your kayak. You can have your own... More

This was a great experience...totally different then tubing down the Salt River. The Trackers are the way to go...tubes are for kids and ice chests full of waters, beer and snacks. It took us (3 adults - 3 teens - 2 preteens) 4.5 hrs to finish...this was only because we caught a nasty head wind that started pushing us up... More

Great activity to do with young kids. Do: bring a camera (waterproof it) Don't: bring anything else! We rented the tube trackers and had a blast. The kids 4-12 all loved the little "rapids". Keep in mind that it will take longer with kids. It took us 4 hours to finish the whole route.
