We did the deluxe tour that our resort concierge recommended and set up. It was a bus tour of the Grand Canyon and we were fortunate enough to have a great guide in Sheldon Finkelstein. Sheldon was a plethora of info on the area, the canyon and history in general. The bus was clean, rode nice and it's easy to... More

Did this as part of a large group, but whether in a large group or as a single, it sure is fun. Easy if you've never done anything like this before as the duckies are flat bottomed and very difficult to roll. They don't always go where you want them, but hey, going sideways or backwards is part of the... More

My husband and I did this tour with a very large group of friends. We had an absolute blast and it was one of the highlights of our vacation. Since our group was so large, we had three guides to take care of us. They were all fantastic and informative. We loved the scenery as we paddled our way downstream.... More

The Water to Wine tour was wonderful! On a beautiful fall day a group of us kayaked down the Verde River. We experienced some rapids and enjoyed beautiful scenery as we made our way down in a leisurely fashion to the Alcantara Winery. Tasting wine was our reward for paddling down the river and staying afloat! We had a great... More

Last week my wife & I participated with a group of 10 in a "Water to Wine" experience presented by Sedona Adventure Tours. The day was a spectacular October day in Sedona, sunny and warm (don't forget the sunscreen!). We were picked up at Alcantara Vineyards, off Route 260 between Cottonwood and Camp Verde. Our driver/guide Jim drove us several... More

I highly recommend the Water to Wine tour. The inflatable kayaks were so comfortable and fun and the views were gorgeous. Ending up at the winery for a tasting was great too.

We made our reservations, but had the dates confused. Tracie got us in the next day. She was great to work with. The trip, was fun, and I will do it again.

A couple of dozen friends from Tripadvisor have been meeting up for a week every October for 6 years now in southern Utah. We've enjoyed a wide range of hikes, explorations and adventures including rafting. We chose Sedona this year and wanted a day of water related activity. The top choice was the Ducky trip on the Verde River. Though... More

The reservation process was easy. They sent very good directions to follow so you don't get lost along with a list of recommended items to bring which was extremely helpful. Our guide was a few minutes late showing up. Reading the reviews it sounds like there are usually two guides, but we only had one for 11 people, so we... More

I planned a 50th birthday trip for one of my sisters and this was one of the things we planned to do on our 3 day trip to Sedona. I called to make reservations for Saturday and was told they were booked but had availability on Sunday. I spoke with Tracie and specifically asked for the Water to Wine tour... More

So sorry we hate when this happens. After checking with Tracie and our reservations team about this we were certain that the reservation was for the Verde River Trip in that we were completely sold out of our Water to Wine Tour the day you made the reservations, we had no availability. We understand sometime in excitement of the moment... More
