This was a truly enjoyable ride. Peggy and all the others at the ranch were so hospitable and welcoming. The ride through the hills was a wonderful way to get a feel for this beautiful country. It's a working ranch with a spread of a few hundred head of cattle, raising their own quarter horses, and rabbits, quail, and roadrunners... More

We did the evening trail ride and cowboy dinner cookout. It was amazing!! I picked M diamond based off of previous reviewers and we were very pleased. We are not horse riders at all, but they made the newbies feel very welcome. The cookout was great fun with very yummy, probably the best I have ever eaten, steak. Roping for... More

Being from back east -- the wide open space and the beauty of Sedona ended with a night at a real cattle farm. The drive down a dirt road wondering if we were on the right road was half the fun. The meal was wonderful -- what i really wanted my family to see was a real ranch. Wide open... More

Yours is one of our all-time favorite reviews! You have mentioned everything we strive for: our guests at our home; not fancy, not actors or entertainers (except for Alvie Self, of course!) More

Well Arizona was researched and booked in advanced months before. We stayed at the WIGWAM Resort in Arizona which was in the outskirts of Phoniex. But all the stuff I had planned was near Sedona. The M Diamond Ranch is near Sedona and opposite direction to where we stayed. It was well worth the drive and well worth booking. The... More

You were such good sports about the fact that the Wigwam is not located in Sedona! Thank you for considering that the drive here from there was well worth it. More

The trail ride was great!! Took my young daughter on the hour ride and she loved it!! The trail guide Travis was so nice and had great manners! I really appreciated him taking the time to take us on a ride in the heat! The horses were great and the staff was so friendly! IT was a beautiful ride and... More

In the summer, we schedule our rides in the morning and late afternoon to TRY to avoid the heat. Glad you enjoyed your ride with Travis, he's one of our best wranglers. More

My family has never ridden horseback and we wanted to try. The staff of the ranch could not have been nicer, more helpful, or more professional. Terry, our guide, was especially attentive to our comfort in the new experience. By the time the 90 minutes was up, all of us wanted to keep going and we wished we could have... More

While we do have longer rides for experienced riders, the majority of our guests have never ridden before, and it is our great pleasure to introduce them to horseback riding. So happy you enjoyed your ride! More

The ride was fun and just enough time in the mountains. Dinner was outstanding. The wranglers, chef, and entertainer were outstanding and very helpful!! Perfect evening!

We totally agree that 1 hour is just long enough to ride for folks who have never ridden or do not ride often. We are not very commercial or a stage show, so we're really happy that you found the dinner and entertainment outstanding. More

We went for a one hour ride, and when we arrived they were very professional and had our horses already to go. It was a very scenic, memorable experience. I think Mark was the name of our guide. He was new but very nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place!

Mark is a fairly new wrangler/guide here, so it's awfully nice to hear that your ride with him was fun and informative. That's exactly what we strive for! More

I choose M Diamond Ranch as it was away from Sedona and wanted a more quiet ride (not to say the others aren't, I don't know), but I liked that the ranch was not in the epicenter of Sedona, but about 15 miles south in Rimrock. The drive to get to the ranch takes you through a beautiful canyon, so... More

So happy to hear that you found your drive to the ranch beautiful and that you chose us because we are not in the hustle and bustle of Sedona. I do often joke with guests that we can't raise cattle downtown anywhere, but we are the only Guided horseback rides permitted by the Red Rock Ranger District of Sedona. More

Best time ever! My family especially my kids had a blast can't stop talking about the horseback riding trip. Larry is the owner and he is awesome with the kids and even gave my kids a tour around the ranch. Bill and Travis were our guide on the tour and i can't say enough about these cowboys. Bill is a...
