The ride was fun and just enough time in the mountains. Dinner was outstanding. The wranglers, chef, and entertainer were outstanding and very helpful!! Perfect evening!

We totally agree that 1 hour is just long enough to ride for folks who have never ridden or do not ride often. We are not very commercial or a stage show, so we're really happy that you found the dinner and entertainment outstanding. More

We went for a one hour ride, and when we arrived they were very professional and had our horses already to go. It was a very scenic, memorable experience. I think Mark was the name of our guide. He was new but very nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place!

Mark is a fairly new wrangler/guide here, so it's awfully nice to hear that your ride with him was fun and informative. That's exactly what we strive for! More

I choose M Diamond Ranch as it was away from Sedona and wanted a more quiet ride (not to say the others aren't, I don't know), but I liked that the ranch was not in the epicenter of Sedona, but about 15 miles south in Rimrock. The drive to get to the ranch takes you through a beautiful canyon, so... More

So happy to hear that you found your drive to the ranch beautiful and that you chose us because we are not in the hustle and bustle of Sedona. I do often joke with guests that we can't raise cattle downtown anywhere, but we are the only Guided horseback rides permitted by the Red Rock Ranger District of Sedona. More

Best time ever! My family especially my kids had a blast can't stop talking about the horseback riding trip. Larry is the owner and he is awesome with the kids and even gave my kids a tour around the ranch. Bill and Travis were our guide on the tour and i can't say enough about these cowboys. Bill is a... When we arrived the horses were all ready and off we were! The horses were gentle. The guide was a real cowboy with great stories about the area and Arizona. We thoroughly enjoyed our hour ride!

What a fun evening! The staff was hospitable and the food was surprisingly delicious! Alvie Self, the country singer who treated us to sunset entertainment, was the icing on the cake! The cook taught my two kids how to lasso before dessert. This was the highlight of our Sedona trip!

Wes, our great cook, has been having a lot of fun with both kids and adults this summer teaching them how to rope (lasso). We know that families are almost always on a budget and that there are lots of activities in Sedona and the Verde Valley, so we are always gratified to hear your visit to the ranch was... More

I can't say enough good things about this experience. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The trail ride was fun, especially for my teens who had never ridden before. It was pretty much a "nose to tail" trail ride, but it was a great way to experience the Sedona scenery! After the ride, the steak dinner was delicious! Sitting... More

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review. The 1 hour and 11/2 hour rides we do for inexperienced riders are almost always "nose-to-tail" because that is what's safest. Glad you enjoyed the ride and the dinner. Come back and see us again some time! More

Myself, my husband and two boys were at the ranch just last night. It was our last event on our Grand Canyon/Sedona vacation and it was a wonderful way to wrap up our trip. All of us really enjoyed the horseback riding including the boys (8 & 9). The staff make even the most un experienced horse rider comfortable with... More

Thank you for your nice review! We notice that many people come to the ranch as a little celebration: either birthdays, anniversaries or the end of their vacations. In fact, many come directly to or from the airport in Phoenix because we are such an easy on/off from the I-17 freeway. So happy that you enjoyed your special evening at... More

It was a great experience from the start. Only 2 of the 5 of us had ridden before and the horses were well mannered, allowing the first timers to have a relaxing ride. The wranglers offered to take pictures during the ride to allow for memories of us riding. It was a great ride and the views were amazing. Have... More

We are so happy you enjoyed your visit to the M Diamond. As a 100+ year-old 45,000 acre working ranch (meaning we raise cattle) we are definitely not located downtown, and even though we are only 7 miles from Interstate 17, you definitely cannot hear (or see) the highway. Thanks for your review! More

This was one of our favorite things to do while on vacation in Sedona! The trail ride was a blast! The horses were very well taken care of and in great shape. I was nervous as I had never been on a horse before but they were very gentle and pretty much guided themselves on the trail. We were in... More

We are always so happy to provide to our guests a great "first-time" horseback ride. We hope it won't be your last, and that you do come back and visit us. Maybe you'll choose to stay in our "little Gem" Guest House. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review here. More
