What a great opportunity to get up and look out our resort window and see the sun rise over Snoopy Rock. Fun for the imagination.

Really, we did not travel TO Snoopy Rock. We just viewed it from the Red Rock Scenic Drive. You look at many rock formations, trying to find Snoopy, but when you do spot him, there's no question in your mind that you've found him. I don't know anything about hiking to the formation, but he brings a smile to your... More

From Rt 89A to left at the rotary on Rt 179, go left into an upscale shopping plaza set up and back...there is a beautiful view with a viewscope. We were looking for a wine tasting shop. We took pictures and didn't even realize it was Snoopy! The next day we asked about it and when I reviewed photos, sure... More

This formation can be seen from uptown as another reviewer mentioned. Fun formation to view and beautiful as are the red rocks around Sedona. For a neat view take The Pink Jeep Rim Tour. We combined it with the Broken Arrow Tour and really enjoyed it.

The highlight of our trip to Sedona. Snoopy resting on his doghouse with Woodstock on his nose and Lucy sitting on the mountain above. Beautiful at sunset!

This is a formation that can be seen from uptown Sedona. It looks like Snoopy lying on his back on his doghouse.

This is a must for any one traveling thru Sedona. You don't have to hike anywhere to see it. I'm glad I researched before hand so we knew to look for Lucy to the left of Snoopy. Very neat how this formed.

We took a hike off Schnebly Hill Road that curved around the Snoopy formation. It was a great hike-easy with very little change in elevation. Park in the National Forest parking lot and buy a Red Rocks pass (day or multi-day) and enjoy!

We saw Snoopy Rock from the distance. Very cute! But then again how could you not love Snoopy?! Be sure to look for it when stopping in Sedona.

We saw it from a distance, but as a major Snoopy fan, it was a real highlight for me. Too cool! We saw it around sunset. Earlier in the day would have given us better light for pictures.
