Driving up from Scottsdale to Sedona is about a 2 hour drive. Yet when you get close to Sedona, the scenery changes and you are suddenly part of some of the most beautiful desert scenery in America. Tall, majestic rocks jut out of the landscape. Rocks are colored red, beige, brown and at night you will even see purples and... More

Suite was huge and really nice. Had fireplace, balcony, separate living room and bedroom areas, separate shower/sink areas, and kitchen area. Great view of the mountains. Staff was very friendly. 2 pools - one with waterfalls for families, one a little quieter for adults. Perfect water temperature for 100+ degree days. A third pool at the spa. Really appreciated the... More

This hillside shopping center has it all. Wonderful art shops, shoes, clothes, souveniers and great art galleries. When you're hungry, there are options too. We were on a Javalina hunt, and we heard they were lurking outside the Javalina Cantina earlier in the day so that was out place of choice. Just overall, a must stop location!

We were fortunate to have stumbled on Sedona during a drive out of Phoenix. This is just the most charming place to visit. The village/town is bustling with tourists and day visitors who wander through the shops and curios. The most spectacular sight is most certainly the late afternoon sunlight on the sandstone mountains surrounding Sedona. There are various vantage points... More

You gotta go to Sedona. Beautiful area with the mountains - I have never seen anything like before. The Town is nice to - just maybe a little to much turistlike (my opnion).

While visiting Sedona, don't forget to stop by Hillside Sedona, located just south of Tlaquepaque on Highway 179. Not only can you enjoy great food in Javelina Cantina, Murphy's and Shugrue's, but you will find some wonderful art galleries. Modern Masters and James Ratliff Galleries are located on the first level and offer high end art. Just across from Javelina... More

89A from Slide Rock State Park to I-17 has got to be one of the most spectacular drives you can take. Be sure to jog off 89A to the loop road when you have the chance or you'll miss some great scenery. You don't need to spend money on any off-road tour or any kind of organized tour for that... More

Gosh, This Sedona, Arizona is a cool place. . .I visited from Denver on business (first time visit). I found this Hillside Shopping Center was especially nice because it had elevated views and waterfalls flowing around it. Two galleries I will especially recommend here: Gallery of Modern Masters (some of the best glass sculpting) and Greg Lawson's Passion for Place... More

We were told by a long time res that these Hillside Galleries were inspired from Carmel, Calif. Terraces, waterfalls, life-size Bronzes, and breathtaking views all seem to make that plausible. Hours of Art perusing, a very subdued ( ? ) Irish Bar, vistas for magic moments and Dusk Margaritas at Hillsides Javelina Cantina Restaurant. The wall mounted Javelinas look more... More
