This is a popular spot for viewing the vistas of Sedona. You can drive and park or hike to the top. We did both and if you hike, be sure you know which trailhead you're on. We thought we were on a 1 hour beginner trail and after 2.5 hours we were in the dark and pretty much lost. Thanks... More

We did this hike our first day in Sedona and it was somewhat anti climatic. There are some nice views, but there are better hikes in the area. If you are into the Vortexes, park at the lot and climb up the rock face right by the parking lot to see if you experience the Vortex there.

Even though the view was spectacular, we didn't "Feel it" like everyone kept telling us we would. We were slightly disappointed in that aspect. But it was still beautiful and it was my FIRST attempt at what I would call hiking.

Easy access to a wonderful view of Sedona. We went four nites in a row to view the sunset on the rocks. The sun and clouds don't always cooperate and people are not always courteous either. Getting that great photo can be very difficult.

This is where one of 7 of the vortex are. This is a private airport. Only small planes and owns can fly in and out. Except for helicopters . That do tours. And the sunset is so beautiful from here. Get there early or you will have to wait to park..

If you rent a car, there are no close gas stations to refill tank upon return so next time I will allow a lil more time. Airport small but still offers food/giftshops.

Go on a day with lots of fluffy clouds...OMG, you will get the most beautiful sunset, ever! Golden oranges, yellows, reds, pinks, fuchsias, mauves, all against a deep blue...it just doesn't get better than that! Take a look at the rocks across the vista being kissed by the setting sun...all aglow with a warm set of color palette apart from... More
