We watched the sunset and no words can describe the experience one has to go through it. It was AMAZING.

A must when visiting Sedona as it is easy to get to by car if hiking isn't your "thing". Should you be there at dawn, the sun rises on the opposite side of the parking area. You can get a better view by parking in the first Lot you reach, then hike a few short steps up.

Our Pink Jeep tour guide told us about this viewpoint. There are several viewpoints along the road to the airport, including the memorial cross at the top of the hill next to the airport. midway up the hill there is a parking area with a red rock formation that you can climb on top of and have a 360 degree... Rental car return and security was a breeze. Warning the weight limit for baggage on Allegiant is 40 pounds.

We enjoyed eating lunch at the restaurant at the airport. There's a nice overlook on the way up, and the restaurant had good food, good service, and great views.

This is the best place in Sedona to catch glorious sunsets. It can get cool as the sun goes down, so bring a coat. It's easy to find this elevated site, just follow the signs to the airport. This is a very popular place for tourists and locals. Parking is easy.

Our server was so professional and friendly, and the menu was quite varied. The food was really delicious. They have a good wine list, too. It was fun to watch the tour helicopters fly in and out, and the various other aircraft landing throughout our meal. You couldn't pick a better place for a sunset dinner. Not only that we... More

Excellent first stop to catch the scenes of sedona..... wonderful little perch atop the amazing airport mesa..... check out the scene..... everything seems small from here.... meditate its a vortex all to its self, although the main airport mesa vortex is actually just below the main highest stretch on the road up the hill..... not many people know that..... but... We went to the Airport Mesa to experience the vortex and hike the trail. The vortex was not very well signed, but some other visitors told us it was on the top a large red rock where there was a number of people taking photos. It was a very short but steep climb to the top, but it was well... More
