Probably one of the best trails in the world. Fairly easy, but still a decent hike (2 miles in, 2 miles back out). Make sure you go all the way to Chicken Point for a lovely view and great place to rest. Also, best to get to Chicken Point before 7:30 am when the jeep tours start rolling in.

About 3.5 miles round trip, though you can extend it by going on towards Submarine rock and Marg's Draw. Fairly easy walk with a gradual increase towards the end but nothing energetic. Lovely views towards Cathedral rock at the end. Could be a great spot for a picnic too.

This was the first trail in the Sedona region that I hiked and the views were incredible!!!! About 2 miles in you will see large formations on either side of you, and you will feel the power and energy that is Sedona. Out of all the things I did during my trip, this was my favorite!

Scout ahead on sections to mountain bike. The reason I state this is because there are some huge drops if you are riding quickly and will soon discover that a few minutes to scout some sections would have been a safer bet. Even when hiking on this trail, be aware, around some trees, corners, or whatever a biker will be... More

Of the numerous trails requiring only moderate effort in Red Rock country, this is one of my favorites. The hike will take you to Chicken Point which affords spectacular 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside. The trail is exceptionally well signposted, and the hike can be extended in a variety of ways by joining other tracks. Its well under... More

It was a fun trail. Interesting views of the Red Rocks as well as the chapel. Enjoyed it and it was pretty close to our hotel in downtown Sedona!

The trail is narrow, but moderately easy going. At the top are views of the Holy Cross that are almost surreal. The flora along the trail in Springtime is pretty unbelievable - - I was shocked to see so many Daisy's, cactus flowers and colors. The Desert in the spring is really amazing. The trail is right off 179 and... More

Sedona is too gorgeous to stay inside. My hotel suggested this trail for the family and we experienced some great views. We did approx. half the trail(2 miles) but could see the Chapel of the Holy Cross and stunning views. Easy climbing, paths were wide enough, popular for hikers and mountain bikers.
