Guided hike

I went on a guided hike. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, and I learned a lot about the nature and rocks of the area.

We arrived at Sedona not knowing which one to go on, especially given our family's varied experience level (girl,12; boy, 14; Mom and Dad). We got great advice and loved the hike. They have a huge variety of gear, too, which will prepare you for anything.

We stopped in here to get a few maps and a hiking guide book and some tips, and got all 3. The guy we talked to spent several minutes giving us specific recommendations based upon what kind of scenery and hikes we wanted to take. Thumbs up for his knowledge and his helpfulness.

I am mid teens and visiting Sedona with my mom on girl's spring break. We found the shop online, they have an excelent website, and decided to go there for advice on where to hike. All the staff were super helpful and had good advice about what hikes to do and tips about extra detour paths that would lead to... More

Attended Greg's talk at our resort. Very helpful 'tips for the trail'. Also took the 2 hour free hike Tuesday morning. Very knowledgeable guides - local history, flora, archeology, hiking - and got individualized advice re hiking trails afterwards. A true bargain. And the dark chocolate oatmeal cookies......scrumptious!

I visited Hike House two times while I was in the Sedona area camping. All the staff in both the apparel side and the cafe/map and book area were very knowledgable. My friend and I are of opposite skill levels and were guided in the right direction for trails which kept me happy and challenged my hiking buddy. I will... More

We recently visited Sedona and the Grand Canyon, a friend told us about hike house so we stopped in. They showed us great hikes to do in both locations and we tried to do all of them:) everyone was very helpful and had great recommendations. Definitely worth stopping in for gear or advice!
