We have enjoyed the Hike House for a few years, now. We bought boots and socks from them this year and they fit like a glove. We have also gotten great advice on new trails and old. This year I even took a short hike with a group and received safety tips for future hikes. They have a great book... More

The staff are so friendly, have great advice on memorable local hikes, and then also gave wonderful tips for local restaurants.

We love all the guys at the Hike House. They are always SO helpful in suggesting good hikes for us (even when the May 2014 fires had closed half of the trails!). They are so willing to help with information even if you don't buy a thing - but of course we always find something to purchase! Great clothing, books,... More

Arrived in Sedona thanksgiving eve, and went on our first hike Thanksgiving day around Bell Rock & Courthouse Butte, got off the hiking trail, no map, ran out of water, etc, etcetera. Found out we loved hiking, but not without the right gear. The owners were very patient with us, explaining all the options, with the correct gear I'm very... More

Quick trip to Sedona, left home without our gear. Staff at The Hike House was very helpful & we got everything we needed to enjoy the awesome hikes around Sedona. Derrick gave us an overview of the top hikes in the region, along with some helpful tips. Loads of hiking maps, books, etc., in their cafe. Well worth stopping in!

Sedona is one of the best places in the country for day hikers. These are the experts. Tell them your level and your interests and they will give you the best options. We took 5 hikes they recommended and one was better than the next. A great place to get your trail map, and wonderful trail mix options.

I can't say enough good things about the Hike House. We approached with apprehenssion and caution and left in love with this place. We came to hike Sedona; however, if you have no or little hiking experience these guys do a great job at meeting you where you are at and putting you on trails that meet your expectations and... I received the most amazing service at The Hike House this week. I came in with a simple question and walked out with tons of info and a map all marked up to point out what to do and what to look for. I was so impressed. All of this was offered up for free. I will gladly go back... More

We stopped by Hike House to buy a map, boy was that the best $10 we ever spent! The very helpful guy running the cafe highlighted our map with all the trails he thought would suit our interest, he gave detailed and interesting information about many of the hikes and happily answered all our questions
