If your planning a hike, go to the hike house! I was told by Mike to go to the Devils bridge and my whole family loved it. The hike was pretty easy but the last part got pretty harry...but was worth it. Mike gave us good advice and was super friendly as well.

Never having been to Sedona or the Grand Canyon, we were not sure what would be best for our group. At their suggestion, we knew a fun, "secret" place to take awesome photos! We also had exceptional recommendations for hiking the Canyon! My 18 year old was able to hike down Bright Angel and back on a day! Thanks for... More

My parents and I drove up to Sedona from Scottsdale and got a great recommendation for places to hike! The Scenery was beautiful, the people were very helpful and friendly, and the Famous Trail Cookies were fantastic treats! (My personal favorite is the white chocolate cranberry cookie). I was born and raised in Chicago, so the only scenery I'm accustomed... More

My husband and I entered the Hike House on Sunday (smelly and sweaty) after a hike at the Grand Canyon and not only did Jason make a joke of our 'fresh sweat smell', but he spent 20 minutes talking about what hikes we should and shouldn't do in Sedona that night and the next morning. He shared with us a... More

Mike at the Hike House was terrific. He gave us some great hiking suggestions for Sedona and for the Grand Canyon. I still have to review some of the hikes he recommended, as i promised I would in exchange for cookies. :) The cookies were really good, but the hiking was better. At the GC, Mike recommended the South Kaibab... More

Wow! Wow! Wow! Jason was extremely helpful with helping me get my first pack! But, as a private guide, his information on Sedona as well as the Grand Canyon is unequaled! He gave us maps and countless fantastic tips! Military discount on gear, too!

We entered this shop and saw lots of interesting hiking gear. We are basic beginners and asked for help to find a "grandma trail" they assisted and we had a beautiful day. We also bought the most incredible cookies (humungous) for our enjoyment. They proved to be a super fuel needed when we took the wrong path off the "grandma... More

When we went to the Hike House, my family and I were immediately shown a map and sharpies, used to show many different trails and potential hikes. We chose to do West Fork and Devil's Bridge. We were told how many miles each hike was and approximately how long it would take. It turns out that they were pretty accurate!... More

Went looking for a good hike to do for a beginner (me being 15 and my sister being 12). We were recommended many fun and short yet thrillingly challenging hikes, and we had a great time. A great place to go for instructions and directions on where to hike based on skill level.
