Our guide Steve (aka The Wizard) was fabulous. Steve was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, the plant life and their uses and the geology. He stopped at various places to show us different things and the rock formations. The trip was fun, educational and visually inspiring, Steve was funny and also concerned about our comfort during the... More

While the off roading was fun and our guide funny, we really didn't feel at all like this was a vortex tour. Only stopped at one place and just spent the rest of the 2 hours riding around. In reality, we were also cut short, as we were brought back at least 20 minutes early. I was only in Sedona... More

We signed up for the "vortex tour" in early January and were sadly disappointed. Our guide (they called him the "cowboy" in the office, but we never got his real name) was a nice older gentleman, who was very kind and knowledgeable about Sedona in general. He shared movie trivia and pretty amazing facts about local plant life. He admitted... More

We had a few hours to visit Sedona today and decided to resist the pull of the pink jeep tours and find another jeep tour! We decided on Arizona Safari Jeep Tours and we had an awesome adventure to visit Seven Canyons thanks to Steve, the Wizard! We learned so much, we laughed so much and we had a total... More

Doug was awesome. Super informative and fun... An all around great tour. Trails are beautiful and scenery is great. We were picked up at our car and brought back after 2 hours on the trail.

We enjoyed a jeep tour with Steve. He was an excellent guide, he was personable and concerned with our comfort as well as knowledgeable about the area. Would request him again.

Riding off-road and off-off road with Paul Foster and his student on the Vortex Tour was such a delight. He made it so much fun. His knowledge of the area and his interesting stories made it worth the trip from Cincinnati! And his timing was impeccable... Our pictures at sunset are proof positive that Paul has been doing this for... More

We did the Outlaw Trail and had a wonderful and unforgettable time. The views were incredible. We went from off road trails in the desert to the western canyon trails to see and learn about the beautiful red rock mountain formations. Our guide Paul Foster was so much fun, his enthusiasm and extensive knowledge in the area and Sedona's history... More

We were expecting the vortex tour to go places I couldn't get to by car. Maybe off road? Unfortunately every place we went I could have gotten to by car. Thought Max our guide saved the day, good stories, good vibe.

Thank you for taking the time to make a comment. The Vortex Experience is the one Tour we allow our Guides to customize for the guests. Generally the Guide gets a feel for the desires of the group, then shapes the tour to meet their expectations. Certainly this tour is much more about the sites and the information than about...
