We started off a bit unsure but quickly got the hang of it. We took water and snacks, hats and binoculars and had a great time. We saw a group of Javelina right next to our Jeep. There were other Jeeps on the trail, but not too many when we were there. I would advise going during an off peak... More

We only had time to do a 4 hour rental, and had plenty of time to do two great trails - soldiers pass and broken arrow. Soldiers pass is a great one to start with because it gives you a feel for what these Jeeps are capable of. Broken arrow trail is a ton of fun - and be sure... More

Before planning our weeks’ vacation in the Grand Canyon, Sedona and Page, we took to trip advisor to plan out our trip. We knew we wanted to one of the jeep excursions, but when I came across all the excellent reviews for Barlow’s, I knew we had to do it with them. We had a party of 7, so it... More

We rented a four-door soft-top Wrangler Rubicon from Barlow and couldn't be happier with their service. They take the time to tell you all about the local trails and walk you through the trail maps to tell you what to expect. We had the best time out on the trails, and only wish we could have added more hours to... More

The staff at Barlow Jeep Rentals was friendly and helpful from when we first called to inquire about rentals to when we returned our jeep. At check in, detailed information is provided. We were given "Olive" an aptly named Rubicon. The jeep was in great shape and a cooler was provided for us to bring our drinks. We chose a... More

As mentioned in some of the other reviews herein, the staff and service are unbeatable. They make you feel at home and even, if like me, you are a novice to "jeeping" they explain everything. They go out of their way to help you. The jeep I rented "Olive" was great and it seems that all the vehicles are in... More

At first i was going to book a jeep tour for our family of 4. Then i saw i could rent a Barlow Jeep and drive on the same trails that the tour company uses. My family was glad we decided to get the jeep for 24 hours and do a lot of trails versus just one with the tour... More

To began with, the staff @ Barlow's is incredible. We were helped out so much by Mary, and Chris regarding everything "Jeepy". Detailed Maps, detailed advise, from people who know what they're doing. The Jeeps are brand-new, 40g Rubicons, modified to tackle the toughest terrain. Do get the $25. Wind shield/Tire insurance, it will just give you peace of mind.... More

Having zero off-road jeep experience, I was a little hesitant about taking the family "Jeeping" for 24 hrs. From the beginning of check-in, The Barlow Crew made us feel comfortable and confident that we could safely go off-roading. The entire staff was incredibly knowledgable and explained everything to us without and confusion. They helped map out the trails and provided... More

Not sure what else I could write that has not been posted in all of the other "excellent" reviews. I have had no previous 4x4 experience and had no trouble doing any of the trails during our 24hr rental. We started with soldier pass, which is in the "adventurous" category, which was exhilarating and made the palms sweat. The only... More
