Hiking or biking, Bell Rock has a little bit for everyone. Whether you mountain bike and want a good work out on average terrain, or would like to stroll around, this area is for you. There are some hills to get your heart pumping on a bike, or you can hike around the rock counterclockwise and include Cathedral rock. There... More

Different angles at different times of the day cast a spell of beauty throughout the day. Great hiking trails with nature at its wildest. Saw a coral snake and watched it react to shadows that we cast on it. Also, great bike trails.

Our first trip to Sedona was highlighted by a short hike to Bell Rock. It was late in the afternoon so we didn't have time to climb to the top, but we made it about a third of the way up, an easy climb, and the views were great. We didn't experience anything mystical, but it was pretty cool to... More

One of the greatest places to feel vortex. Lots of hikers. We could not make to the top due to the wind condition, but it would have been splendid if we could have made it. Still could we enjoy the beautiful view from the middle section.

We went to Bell Rock on our last day, in the late afternoon. We found the climbing trail, and, although we are inexperienced climbers, were able to climb the upper section. It is, though, not easy, but well worth the effort.

We almost didn't visit Bell Rock because we had heard it is the most popular of all the vortex sites in Sedona, but we were glad we took the opportunity for an early morning hike on our last day there. Bell Rock provides you with gorgeous views of the valley south of Sedona.

Beautiful place to see while in Sedona.. Get out of the car and walk around (nice easy trail, if that suits your needs) or be more adventurous and ride a bike or take the smaller trail...

Third time in Sedona and second time walking. Started last time here and consider this an easy initiation to trailing in the area. We combine this with Courthouse Butte circular route with a wee trip up the Bell itself for more fab views. Again, Red Rock Passes needed, daily or whatever. Car park popular with sightseers and bus parties so... More
