Larry Sprague was our jeep tour guide. Larry was very knowledgeable and you can certainly tell why he has been doing this type of thing for nearly 30 years. Larry explained all about the vortex line as well as how it all ties in together with mother earth. Larry also pointed out the rock formations, the names and a little... More

We had only one day in Sedona. The three hour jeep tour was a huge disappointment. The jeep never went off road. We stopped at 3 places full of other tourists while the quide expected the participants to experience some sort of cathartic experience while a helicopter flew over and a front end loader rattled around nearby. We did walk... More

We wanted to go on a tour to learn more about the spiritual and natural history side of Sedona. Our tour guide, Larry, was great at captivating our attention but at the same time gave us very detailed information about everything from the plant life to the history of some of the habitat and their spiritual meaning. I feel this... More

We went with this tour as it focused more on the earthy spiritual side. Our tour guide was fun but was quite spiritual and told us a lot about the vortexes and a lightless bit of science and geology. He took us to a place we would not have been able to access on our own with awesome views on... More

We took the Vortex-Medicine Wheel tour based on good reviews and a New York Times article that appeared several years ago. The bottom line is that we are glad that we took it and have no regrets. That being said, are there things that can be improved. Is it worth the approximate $120? Yes and No. Our tour guide was... More

Our Vortex Tour with JP was perfect! Super hippie, super educational. The jeep ride is a bit rough, so keep that in mind when you go out! There's very little walking, which was a nice change from the hiking I had done on the other days of my trip. We used a Groupon - definitely worth $95 (total price for... More

The guide was knowledgeable on a lot of topics, from plants to Native Americans and geology and I really liked it. The guide kept talking during the whole trip (either you like chatty people or not). The jeep stopped in 2 places : a park where we could take pics of Cathedral Rock and Mystic Vista. BUT : - we... More

I took the tour on my very first day in Sedona. What a great way to start the trip, unwind and leave the extra baggage behind. VJ who guided our group is a very spiritually minded person, so he was the perfect person to discover the vortex tour!!

Larry our driver/guide knew a ton about the area and was very passionate about Sedona and took us on a great fun ride. I would recommend the Rough Rider tour if you want to learn a lot and get some great pictures.

Love Douglas, Larry, and Kevin! Fantastic staff, extremely fun, great energy, and a fabulous tour. If you are looking for an experience, an opportunity to really connect with Sedona and what it's all about, and not JUST a tour of some red earth, then you need to check out Earth Wisdom Tours. This is my second trip with them and... More
